This is the eighth track from the New Year's Eve Whiplash Bash 87' DVD and it's off Ted's self titled debut solo album.
Note that I didn't cut any of the tracks. It still is the full DVD just in higher quality.
Along with "Cat Scratch Fever", this is one of Ted's most recognizable songs.
The end of this track features Ted introducing and talking about his bandmates at the time.
17 years old and had the best time with my childhood friends🤘 Attended all 7 bashes from 86 through 93
Probably the best rock and roll guitar player ever.
never missed a fine show like this ever qas at all the whip lash bashes and no one has 88,89. and 91!!~
Was there whiplash bash 87 got goosebumps Ted still gives me goosebumps
I wish this concert was available on CD
I saw Uncle Ted in concert very hallucinated and when he played this song I felt the vibrations that floated in the air yeahh
DEREK!!!!!!!!
Hard pressed to find a better guitar player than Nugent
Ok so……. This vid is so awesome it feels illegal…..
What a fucking professional. Say what you want about his politics, but when that guy is on stage he is top-level…. Last time i saw ted live was 2004 or something… he was still amazing
Best concert ever
There was nothing like the Whiplash Bash!
Still hear Mom yellin'........ "TURN THAT DOWN!" (Can't hear ya Mom, sorry!)
Un hermoso recuerdo!!
Why would Ted choose to completely eliminate the iconic solo? The very best part of the song.
MrMustard Agreed. Unless they edited it out of the video, that seemed very strange and Ted does not usually disappoint.
Derek Saint Holmes is God
Hey R&R Hall of Fame this is Rock & Roll. Joan Jett and Duran Duran who?
Sparky Anderson, the lighting director, was possibly the worst lighting man in the history of the business. 600 lights on stage, and none of the players are lit up....
Spot on assessment.
