Ha! I like this song so much I learned it from ear and now play it on the guitar while singing it every day! Don't care what people say about this album, it's awesome and Ted rules! = D
I was hooked to Ted's music when I met him in 74 at a music store in Plymouth, Michigan. He purchased a new Byrdland, then he started to play, and I was hooked, bound & determined to learn to play as well as I could like Ted's style. Growing up in same neighborhood as Nuge,he was a "Staple " of my music.
NUGENT ROCKS !!!! plain and simple !! he has ROCKED us for over 50 years !!!! Loved the Little Miss Dangerous CD !!! and this song needs to be played with the volume at 10 !!!! Ted has standed the test of time !!!! a TRUE ROCK GUITAR LEGEND!!! among the BEST !!! GOD GUNS AND NUGENT !!!
Love this song. Ted and Derek killed this song. Ted was my second show in 1989 with Derek. Have been to many whiplash bash's once I moved back to Michigan.
I made it to the front row this night, sweated my ass off!!! and couldn't get my arm back down. I still have the Teddy confetti. Thanks Uncle Ted, you rock!
TED IS THE BEST GUITAR PLAYER EVER!!!!! NOBODY BUT NOBODY HAS EVER TRIED TO MOCK HIM!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS ONE OF A KIND . I HAVE SEEN TED IN CONCERT SINCE I'VE BEEN 16 YRS OLD AND NOW I'M 56!!!!!!!!!!! the man still kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2nd guitarist is Derek St. Holmes who was with Ted when he started out, did most of the singing early on. they split in late '70's, got back together, split, etc..., he's got a shaved head now, still tours with him - nice guy. That's his voice you hear on Stranglehold. OK guitar player, mostly a singer.
Paul Reed Smith used to go backstage at the Capital Centre, and offer all the acts to try his guitars. Robert Leese from Heart has some of the original ones, and prototypes.
hey man you are great !!! i saw him last year, i went to London on 14 july to O2Arena from my town Milano Italy apposite to see Uncle Ted. I never seen a great gig like that before !!!!!!!! Tell me something more about your experience !!! Salute ! Alex
And then in 2019 you supported him in his US tour, what a superb transition :D You rock man! Your music is amazing, and so is Ted's. Best wishes for the future
For someone who first saw Ted at a roller rink in Westmont Illinois just before the "Ted" album came out man this sucks and since Wang tang came out have kinda sad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ted Nugent, pas le plus technique (Steve Vai) mais un excellent guitariste.... l'incarnation du feeling, comme Angus Young, Chuck Berry, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan....
@FreeWestRadio Yeah, I'm an ultra hardcore priest fan also but this is the first time I'm listening to this. And it's not that bad. But yeah, Priest Painkiller is a lot better.

Ted was one of if not the first guitar player approached by Paul Reed Smith to promote his guitars...a little Rock and Roll trivia for everyone.

Paul Reed Smith used to go backstage at the Capital Centre, and offer all the acts to try his guitars. Robert Leese from Heart has some of the original ones, and prototypes.
I think you could put a cheap Walmart guitar in Ted's hands and he'd rock the shit out of that thing.
