This is the seventh track from the New Year's Eve Whiplash Bash 87' DVD and it's off Ted's tenth solo record "If You Can't Lick 'em... Lick 'em"
Note that I didn't cut any of the tracks. It still is the full DVD just in higher quality.
This is a very unique song as it is one of Ted's few rock ballads. Ted only played this during his "Lick 'em" tour and it was only a handful of times.

My wife of almost 25 years had this as our song. I introduced her to Uncle Ted and she was impressed. We ALMOST played this at our wedding!!
I had Whiplash on VHS and finally found it on DVD. I had heard Ted doing these shows on New Years Eve when he was still in his home state of Michigan, but I do not think many were filmed. I wish they would remaster this to digital and release it officially on DVD. The DVD I bought was really not the best quality, but still glad I got it! Rock On Ted!
Those claiming Ted isn't a virtuoso, try playing this , singing it, with no place to hide mistakes , in front of 20000 fans.

I first saw Ted back around 1976 or maybe '77 and many times since. I had just returned to Texas from a year out West when I met the girl that would become my wife. We went to Six Flags Mall in Arlington, TX and "If You Can't Lick 'Em" had just come out. I bought my first Nugent CD as I had all of his albums to that point. This song quickly became OUR song which was really funny because she was into Prince, Paula Abdul, etc. Now, 23 years of marriage later, this brings back a lot of memories.
This is a tribute to the late great Jimi Hendrix. This sounds dead on Little Wing!
