Hes drenched in ENTHUSIASM and its up up and UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mind blowing shit right here..luv you Uncle Ted...you were a real TRIP(without drugs!)
i used to trade Ted live tapes in the 80's/90's and got all of this gig from a radio broadcast almost 3hrs long! Still play it till this day! Thank you for the upload, some great memories here.
Jesus F***ing Christ ! I didn't know this existed ! I was frickin there tripping on acid ! Cobo area Detroit ! What a wild night that was ! Holy F**k !
No. He was a good singer But ted is the backbone and front bone. He also wrote the songs. What did deric do after ted nugent? That answers your dumb question.
no we cant agree, he wasn't with ted in the beginning (Amboy dukes) or the end. that being said, derek was likely the best partner. \if it wasn't for \uncle \ted...
Ted and the Dukes was the first concert I went to, in 1970, at Miami Marina. They performed on a floating stage. He acted like he was tripping crazy. At the end he fell into the water with his guitar. Everybody thought he would be electrocuted. He was "rescued" and we were assured that he was alright. All part of the act I'm sure. I saw them several times after that wanting to hear this song but they never played it. He would always play the beginning rhythm part only to segue into another song. He was known for his anti-drug rants and denial of knowing this was a drug song. I guess he didn't look at the album cover.
Ted, you were an amazing guitarist and entertainer.Probably still are,but you got political.Disagree with you there, but musically,I will always admire you.
You'll NEVER see Joan Jett play or perform anything close to what you see Ted and band mates jam out in this live show. Don't even try to argue against my comment. I'm right you're not. The R&R Hall of Fame is a joke. Rolling Stoned and the R&R Hall of Fame are geared more for boot lickers. In true Ted fashion, he could create his own genuine Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and all time top contributing musicians and at least it would be a list generated by a true Rock & Roll legend and the all time highest live show performing artist rather than the dope smoking political hacks producing that rag magazine and running the vegans only R&R Hall of Shame.
The Motor City Madman.
Back in these days Ted would FLY off of 15 foot PA stacks and be playing immaculate solos all the way down and land in a powerful stand. He ROCKED.
and fucked up his back!
He's 73 and he can still shred it! He does RUclips live videos all of the time from his home and plays licks on his guitar for his fans.
@@kurtb8474 Our Uncle Ted is a Nuclear warhead against THIS WOKE BULLSHIT WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY... God bless Our Uncle Ted....

Uncle teddy is the only one who could make a Birdland sound so good,no one else has the balls
He's a monster guitar player. I love Uncle Ted.

I was just listening to the Amboy Dukes vers. and I had not heard him do that song in recent times. This is pretty awesome
This is the best version I've seen besides the original Amboy Dukes video.

I agree pretty cool he and the band nailed IT!!
You haven't been to a rock concert until you've been to a Nugent concert.

Seen 2 of his New Year Bashes....alot of fun. He got so into them and the crowds. 👍

Kick ass! Nothing more to say.
THAT had to be 1 of the best fuckin concerts....EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's no denying Ted's talent but I liked his understated appearance in a suit in the original 1968 video better - LOL
I saw Ted Nugent when I was 14 or 15 years old at the hullabaloo in Jackson Michigan Unforgettable
Journey to the Center of TNs Mind!!
The motor city madman
I saw Uncle Ted several times! His shows are awesome!
Just real good rock n roll
Uncle Ted!
Simply awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best version I've ever heard!
Jesus F***ing Christ ! I didn't know this existed ! I was frickin there tripping on acid ! Cobo area Detroit ! What a wild night that was ! Holy F**k !
Classic!!
awesome
This is a great performance. The problem with Ted's concerts in those days was that he didn't play loud enough. It was hard to hear him.
Are y'all kidding? You must be .yeah haaaa lol
can we all agree that Derek St Holmes is the real backbone of the Ted Nugent band
Definitely the better singer. Should have never gotten rid of him. Nugent music was never as good after St Holmes left.

It's OK. 🥴👍

It's a race to the finish.
FUCK Rock and Roll hall of fame, he deserves to be in there…
Fuck’n cool concert

Interesting,at 1:44 the Rythme Guitatist is changing Axes..Never noticed that before.
good eye
He broke a string during the song before...
No shit! I've seen this many times and never noticed. Thanx!
I have this concert on a VHS tape it's great
😍
He wrote this when he was 18.
What guitar is he rocking here? It doesn’t look like a Byrdland
Pretty sure it is. Slung down low on a big guy like Ted it looks a bit smaller
Best live version of this song; last good show before Ted went "nuts."
Can someone answer that phone please??
I think you should add a female. Bass player I think that would take the whole Topless Thing to a new level
Response to Gendelmoster8u (2 months ago) "What?" -- Huh?
Hall of Fame????????????????????????? Hall of Shame!
This Sargent Nugent speaking, is your Liberal nut job neighbor freaking out again? I'll send a deputy right out.
Ted Nugent Great guitar player Ugly guitar
Ted Nugent, Republikan Party Chair...
Drums suck. I heard the original many times.
Can't believe the electronic drums...God Awful!
Original so much better.
Ted, you were an amazing guitarist and entertainer.Probably still are,but you got political.Disagree with you there, but musically,I will always admire you.
he will bring MI to trump buddy
ruclips.net/video/mlAr3kUdBqI/видео.html
I DISAGREE WITH YOU THERE. TED IS MARRIED TO A WOMAN. HE'S NOT INTO THE ASS LOVER'S PARTY.
Everything about teds attitude, politics and music line up. He’s consistent and mostly right.
Nugent and Trump '24
