Rising absolutely correct. They didn’t have the “impact” on the world. To be completely honest I don’t quite see why or how Tyson made it. He is often mentioned with Ali and people often think he would beat Ali in the ring… seems his few years of being a ferocious little guy beating mediocre boxers really built the hype and his legacy. I can think of so so many that deserve just as much recognition as Tyson, if in fact Tyson has earned his place in boxing history.
He didn’t wing casual fans hearts. Who cares. He inspired many people though. His training regime was legendary which is often overlooked. Leo5322 So why is Tyson such a huge fan of UFC and isn't as much of a fan of Boxing anymore? And they wouldn't knock them out. I mean they could, but first they were heavy weights or light heavy weights, and Rumble Johnson or Jon Jones would leg kick them to death then take them to the ground and pound them into the dirt. His style like he said is not taking punishing. How to defend yourself more with counter punches then take blows to the head. Look at majority of the greats. They suffer from brain damage because of those blows and liver damages. Even the great ali suffer from Parkinson diease. Back then they went in all out nothing but respect.
