I have heard many levelling guides shit on spirit bond, but levelling in classic, i found that even as BM my pet (cat) was the limiting factor in reducing downtime. The amount of cumulative time saved not mending pet (and therefore saving mana for dps) and bandaging is nothing to scoff at. This talent is better the larger your pets hp pool is.
just a bit extra info, mines in netherwing ledge in shadowmoon probably have lvl 70 ravagers inside, so u can keep lvling ur original pet till 70 and pick up ravager later on, np. Speaking of macros: Handle pet all in one button: #showtooltip /cast [target=pet, noexists] Call Pet /cast [target=pet, nodead, nomod] Mend Pet /cast [target=pet, dead] Revive Pet /cast [mod:shift] Feed Pet /cast [mod:ctrl] Dismiss Pet /use [pet, mod:shift] Cured Ham Steak just replace food with whatever ur currently feed ur pet with. Also mouseover opener macro: #showtooltip [target=mouseover, harm] Auto Shot /target [target=mouseover, harm] /cast [target=mouseover, harm] Hunter's Mark /cast [target=mouseover, harm] !Auto Shot /petattack [target=mouseover, harm] a personal favorite of mine, to avoid constant tab targeting over and over, just point cursor over mob and scroll mouse to fire macro. easy peasy.
Have to disagree a bit on pet selection there, all nelf hunters should get a cat for Prowl. The difference between them and ravagers in raw dps is so minimal that you will see far greater gains in being able to stealth with your pet. Might be less applicable to pve servers, but the ability to have your pet active while sitting in meld has proven absolutely invaluable to me when playing in any kind of a contested area.
Around 9:00 you explain that your pet, with Dash (the ability), will be at 110% movement speed because Dash will stack with Bestial Swiftness (the talent). Was this a change for TBC? Because in vanilla/classic these do not stack.
Hey Metagoblin i have a qustion about the 1 shot macro its alll about the weapon speed do we need another macro to use with Rapid fire? becuse the weapon speed will cheange and the macro will still make auto shot with out the rapid buff? THNX
useing the macro will always result in dps loss, because haste effects. doing the rotation manually will always be better. however if you dont min-max or try hard. its ok you lose some damage, its still good damage in the macro, and it prevents clipping the autoshot. if you dont know how to
Back then i got over 70% crit in Sunwell as a BM Hunter and the perfect group for the 3 BM Hunters is the Hunters, A Cat and a Enhancement Schaman. The Buff goes up to 9% with 3 Hunters what gives the Cat and Schaman 9% more damage while the Cat gives 5% crit and the Schaman will stand Agi Totem wichen help every one bcs. whe need no Windfuror. I cant wait :)
for anyone that wants to play hunter but dont feel like going completely try hard, just spec into Survival to get Expose Weakness every raid will need you
Where's AP and Agi under stats priority? Don't tell me you classify them under MEH? Also as BM, you will want 2H due to higher AP which benefits both you and your pet. As SV, you will want 1H as you can stack more agi on them with enchants. SV spec is all about Agi.
the macro doesnt work anymore because the way macros work in classic is the same way as in retail and the way the one button macro used to work doesnt work in modern wow
@@blazzerovnik9763 you need to learn pet skills or high rank of pet skills to teach to your main pet.. You can tame a pet and the pet have bite 8. The skill dont upgrade alone. You need tame 1 pet and use the skill, bite 9, until you the hunter learn bite 9. Now you can abandon dat pet and teach to your main pet. At lvl 63 you can tame a ravager already have gore 9 and dash3. Dat 2 skills are the max for tbc. Now you need do teach bite 9 and other pet skills you can learn from the pet trainer. Cobra reflexes and avoidance are a must have. And for leveling train armor and the rest of the points in stamina
Contrary to popular believe, blizzard uses a 1-roll attack table for most attacks. What this means: 30% chance to crit means 30% of your attacks will crit, regardless of how much you miss. For example: 25% crit, 10% miss means for 100 attacks, you get 25 crits, 65 hits, and 10 misses. 4% more hit means 25 crits, 69 hits, 6 misses. Yes i know this isn't how probability generally works, but it's how blizzard calculates attacks - it's far less processor intensive for them. Try it out if you don't believe me.

Very nice guide. Classic hunter main so no meta, I just keep playing the class I love. Next to rogue :)
Same cant wait being called a meta slave whenever i've been playing hunter since phase 1
Well i have a hunter and a warlock since day one. And the hunter in bm all the time. They will call me a lier lol
@@edwardtherhea6818 You're not a meta slave for wanting to be useful to your group tho
This guide infers you use Aspect of the Viper at level range 60-62 but you don't get that ability until level 64
I've been on a TBC classic hype trip all week, love watching your videos while I wait and hope for the TBC announcement!

Fantastic pet guide. This is very helpful to me right now
apart from its wrong and only dreadfang widows give you bite rank 9 which means you have to be level 64 instead of 63
I love how you make this video as I become a hunter main haha
Brother
Same ive got mine up to lvl 30 atm wbu ken?
@@darrenburnside7637 Hit 60 farming my bis raid gear with my guild rn!
Now that’s a cool look
RIP Broken Tooth PepeHands
Idk why but when you said "have a little look about for your next target" i started dying.
Nice Video, do you know if there are still different pet attack speeds in tbc like 1,0 BT, or are they all 2,0 attack speed ?
How does the weapon speed in macro work with bloodlust? The actual attack speed varies with some buffs.
Dont know if i missed it in the video, but did you talk anything about scryer or Aldor? What to chose?
Awesome, great job!
How good are the classic weapons for TBC leveling? Is it worth spending gold on weapons in GDKP or will they get replaced quickly?
do you know why is my pet ravager doesnt have dash skill?
Around 9:00 you explain that your pet, with Dash (the ability), will be at 110% movement speed because Dash will stack with Bestial Swiftness (the talent). Was this a change for TBC? Because in vanilla/classic these do not stack.
it's just great!
You can get a ravager right now from azuremyst isle, by the way
they are so strong
Would like to see your keybindings , expecially for playing as Hunter. Can you make one video about keybindings, thx
Hey Metagoblin i have a qustion about the 1 shot macro

Isn't a cat with Claw going to be better as a focus dump than almost any other pet since there is no CD on Claw?
I use a boar for a lot of leveling. They eat whatever i give them, and they are just ravagers with a charge and slightly different stats.
cant wait to be called a meta slave even tho ive been a hunter since phase 1 lol
Same.
Same
Yeah all these bandwagon cucks are gonna go from talking shit on hunters to playing a hunter they are true losers
for the pet macro, 0,1 stands for bag one slot one afaik
What happens to the 1-button macro when you encounter speed buffs... heroism and so on? That totally changes your attack speed....
wouldn't humanoid killing and all that in the survival tree give lots of damage? But I guess mortal shots is better?
@10:06 you said to get bite rank 9 at level 63 from a dreadfang but its bite level 8....Bite rank 9 is obtained at level 64 it seems:(

pet talents? not pet habilities i cant find wich stats should i train first stamina / armor ,...
Is that W3 music?! I love it!
Now that the macro doesn’t work, how would you go about doing damage now?
I played marks only until surv at sunwell and had no issues back in the day
for anyone that wants to play hunter but dont feel like going completely try hard, just spec into Survival to get Expose Weakness every raid will need you
every raid will need 1. And of that 1 you need to be above a t4/t5 agi threshold.
Is Bob really your uncle?
Is TBC actually happening?
cheers
So as a level 10 in TBC, Ravager?
as i remember carrot does not aply to flying ( and just maybe you didnt even say it does, only riding thats for sure)
I'm maining hunter in BC. What swing timer addon do you use?
Why do the spider I tame only have rank 8?
Why Multishot during levels 60-62'?
Ayyyyyyyye
The gorilla wasn't a bad pet to have on hand as it was basically a pocket prot paladin.
Shaman leveling guilde would be awesome :D

Replace the 2,52 Speed in the macro with my own Attack speed?
y
with red gemmed sunwell gear you get to 70% crit+ as a bm hunter :)
the macro doesnt work anymore because the way macros work in classic is the same way as in retail and the way the one button macro used to work doesnt work in modern wow
Do the one button macfo still works?
Nope, some of them work some if the time. Just get a swing timer and git gud
How many pets can we tame and hold ?
you can have one with you and stable 2 in classic tbc
Lies, you can't get Bite (rank 9) at 63 lvl. Dreadfang Lurkers have Bite (rank 8). Dreadfang widows have Bite (rank 9), but they are 64 lvl.
just pick rank 8 if you dont have and pick 9 afther..
what's the point in grabbing lurker anyway and then get rid of it, i wont have bite on other pet... i don't get it. i am new to wow

dude why u wearing suit? is ur name barney?
so, warriors, I recall there were some jokes about damage numbers... So, what do we have here now...
Bob's your uncle :)
You cant learn Bite Rank 9 from a Lvl 63 Dreadfang... You can´t afford rank 9 online from Dreadfang Widows LVL 64!
Is bob really your uncle?
Do people really not know how to say Revered? You've never encountered that word in your daily life? Re-veer-d!!!
I know Bob... he is not my uncle tho? =/
nice suit, do they make it for men?
2% health every 10 sec over 4% pet hit? I dont think so
