If I had power in and out of the switch I would have checked the power where the clutch plugs in. I follow the flow of 12 volt power and ground till I find a loss of power or a bad clutch. I posted a video a few days ago of the same mower where the clutch failed and was drawing 30 amps and getting the harness, fuse and switches very hot. ruclips.net/video/kgFS5cExg8E/видео.htmlfeature=shared Thanks for watching.
Love seeing diagnostics done right. Life is so much better when you understand how to use a multimeter.
What if it was not the switch? What would you check next?
