How to check your scags electrical system for the pto clutch. #scag #lawncare #lawncarebusiness #lawnmaintenance #lawntok #kawasaki #mowermaintenance #mower
Best video I have ever seen by far. So my ground on the PTO switch failed. It passed the voltage test, 12.4 volts going to the clutch… but the next test you recommended, testing the ground, it failed. Where do I go from there
My problem is i start the mower, pull the pto switch to engage the blade and when i do that it locks up, it dont just shut the mower off, its like its got a beake that stops everything motor and engine, im wondering if there is some safety deal that makes it brake the motor so hard to stop everything in half a sec, do you know or ever heard of something like that, a emergency stop that hits that hard
There’s no brake on the blades persay if the engine and all is stalling out most likely you have a bad spindle or a bad pulley, clutch etc. If it’s turning the engine off like you’re turning the key off it’s probably a safety switch of the control module. What model is your unit?
Good job, more videos please thank you.
Thank you for the comment I working on them.

Check the case ground on the side of the block if you, check all of your connections if all tests good the harness is gone.
Thank you my man! Just saved me $400
No worries. Glad to help that what the videos are for!
Excellent! Troubleshot in 3 minutes
Thank you for the comment glad to help!
Is it great! Troubleshooting a potential bad PTO on a Cheetah right now.
I have a full video on Scag electric systems just for that job.
@@Brotherslawn23 yes! Watched that one too. Helped me find a loose wire in the connector for the voltage regulator coming off the magneto.
@@EliteQConsulting awesome! I hope they helped. I enjoy making the videos. Probably not the best quality but they get the job done!
