I have been obsessed with Courtney Barnette's hair for years. I love her layers. She has a mullet now. Is the cut the same? I am always trying to figure out her cut.
I have very fine hair so I’m always trying to find products that work with my mullet haircut. I also have it shaved on half of my head and a quarter of it shaved on the other side. Any suggestions?

I've watched so many shag/mullet videos and they look nothing like the original shags of the 70s. I know because I was there. The real problem is that you make this hairstyle look like a helmet head. That is NOT what shags looked like! The top was MUCH MORE LAYERED which kept it from looking like a helmet had been on the head. It was actually really nice and added lift, texture and interest.
