- Hi! This is the much requested haircut video that I’ve been saying I was gonna make for months. Hopefully this is helpful for someone, this is my first video talking into the camera like this, so I’m sorry if its a bit awkward! Feedback is very welcome, I spent a lot of time editing this one so hopefully it shows :)

This really is a fantastic mullet tutorial. I hope you can do more cutting tutorials in the future because your way of explaining it is so much better than the shit they teach in beauty school! (sincerely, a beauty school dropout)
Yess same! I’m also a beauty school dropout, I couldn’t stand my teacher she was all about teaching us “money money money” and that just wasn’t it for me! Glad I dropped out of that in high school and became a tattoo artist instead! 💜💜
Well....I did it. A bottle of wine and a pair of scissors....what could POSSIBLY go wrong! Hahahahah! Turn out pretty good. My hair isn’t quite as long and I style it slightly to one side, but I was able to cut it all myself and leave the length in the back. Happy with it....thanks!!!!
Damn girl! Seems like we thought the same. But I had a fine whisky instead. I just came back to this video because I want to give my hair a little retouch and couldn't quite remember how I did it the last time.

@@emilyaitch8143 I honestly feel like they teach hairdressers 2 styles and that's it. No matter what I say they give me the same cut every damn time. I've been cutting my hair for a few years now and it feels great.

Ha the whole reason I have a mullet is cause I'm going thin up top. The sides and back are still full. Grow it where it grows I guess lol.
HANDS DOWN THE BEST MULLET TUTORIAL. Easy and straightforward. This is the weirdest haircut I gave myself and I always cut my own curly hair, now it's short in the front like yours, shaved sides, back reaches my shoulder blades and I layered it using the hairband/unicorn/wolfcut method making each layer a bit longer. I get Yolandi Visser vibes from my new hair and I'm loving it! If I think about it I always had that idea in the back of my head to kind of get same hairstyle as her since I heard I FINK U FREEKY for the first time and now years later the time has finally come. Thank you so much that was extremely helpful!!❤

It's beyond flattering it's like you were born with that cut it's amazing how nonchalantly you cut it like it's just you thank you for being very helpful and imo you did everything great your voice is lovely and calm most people get so nervous cutting hair that would be impossible hearing and watching you I wouldn't dare try cutting a mullet myself but I can trim and shape my hair more confidently now after watching you you're so beautiful thank you 🧡
I added this to my playlist about a year ago in my last big manic episode. Here I find myself again, hair is a happy outlet for me. I’m excited to shape up my halfway-there mullet that’s way overgrown.

The back looks awesome for someone who cut their hair themself. I always make it too complicated (remembering my beauty school lessons, trying to approach it as if I was standing behind myself) and the back never looks right.

I just finished watching this for a 2nd time; your trim turned out beautifully and you really know what you're doing. I got a mullet cut a a salon on impulse and then started regretting it because it obviously will take a lot more upkeep than my old long bob. So, searching to see if anyone had a tutorial because I can't afford a trim every 6 weeks. Thank you, I love your style!!!

Thanks so much!!! Got a mullet again after a few years of growing it out and the hairdresser just didn't do it the way I wanted too (she did a great job tho, but you know, personal preferences). I was scared to do anything more than thinning it out myself, but now I have a good guide to try and shape it the way I want my hair to look 💜

going back to school meant i started doing my hair myself because it was too expensive in salons. it was really scary to trim my mullet but this really helped. this is my third time going through the tutorial and cutting my hair--the first time took 4 hours but now i'm down to 2.5--LOL. I'm really really loving the results. Like my favorite haircut.

I loved mullets in the 70's and 80's. I had a typical 80's one until the early 90's. As a Barber I loved cutting mullets. I used to do a bloke that had a mullet and a flat top.
I have a shag already and I'm absolutely gonna use this video when I transition it to a mullet. you explained this in a way I can ACTUALLY understand

I went to a hairdresser and I asked for this but didn't give nearly enough layers and the little that she did you can't see because my hair naturally doesn't have much volume (I'm gonna get some products for that soon) but once I get some clips/supplies I'm gonna touch it up a lot. Simultaneously fell in love with you and your hairstyle wow!! Used this tutorial for a full on chop rather than a trim and found it super duper easy to follow although I was cutting a lot more hair off so it took me a bit of sorting out at the end! 10/10

My hair is wavy-curly with a couple huge cowlicks to complicate styling. I’m just trying to find something shaggy mullet like that is flattering.

loved your video, nice to see a real simple mullet, you did an excellent job, I'm going to cut my hair myself now that you have this video up makes for a very simple cut. I wasn't sure how much to to cut off the crown & I love the back layers. My hair is very thin but I think this will work well. Your color adds to the cut, I've looked at so many styles/colors, this is my favorite. Talking threw it adds to the simplicity. You should be teaching classes! One thing I noticed, you cut hair dry! I do that as well. Unless their hair is very long. I'm very happy to have found you. Not many hair stylist know how to do this cut Thank you!

I've been cutting mine for forever and I basically just randomly pull up strands and cut them off :'D and then go through it with thinning shears
