Hi, yes it would be. This particular technique is not designed to be cut yourself. It would be a little to hard to these specific sections by yourself. If you have a hairdresser friend send it to her or him and have them cut it for you.

There really is no name for this cut/technique. I would just show the hairdresser or send to them if you have that kind of relationship so they can get familiar w/the technique. Hope this helps?
