I have to say, as a classic player who came back to retail to try tww, this expansion is absolutely awesome. The sense of adventure is there, where you’re like “huh, what’s this” then you find a whole ass cave system. Also speaking on warlock, our talent trees are all unique and super fun to play. It’s kinda insane. I’ll probably eventually go back to classic but for now, I am having an absolute blast
I did try TWW without prep after not touching retail since january. I was pleasently surprised and hooked after the first zone. Looks like I Will be playing something more then Classic for the next couple of months
I'm excited to play on Monday!! My main in SOD is at the raid log point where I'm almost full BIS so I feel ready to try something new! I just don't know what class to main! I'm stuck between affliction, fury, frost DK and demon hunter. 😂
If they decrease a little this Disney feeling it will be very good to me. As far as my nostalgia works back in the days I had this feeling for wow where orcs cut human heads when you see these old arts the game felt much more deep.
I've been enjoying it a lot, I was really surprised how much. I wasn't too keen on the story, I would have preferred to unlock adventure mode then pick up the story at my own leisure and the systems are a bit confusing for someone who hasn't played since forever to pick up all in one go, but overall I'm enjoying it!

I'm having such a blast with war For the first time in a long time it's the first expansion where I feel like not rushing. And I am absolutely enjoying the story so far Delves Elisa ones i've done are A lot of fun. And at least the dungeons i've done are pretty solid im 74 and Having a blast. It really does feel like warcraft again with war.
war within feels like warcraft?? to me it seems like people running around 2-3 tabbing mobs without taking any damage.. that is not warcraft to me.. how is a starting zone in classic more challenging than questing in newest expansion??
Have you ever went into tbc in full naxx gear, or went into wrath in full bis from tbc? It’s the same thing, most of us are extremely overgeared and just running through mobs. Around 76 it started to change quite a bit for me
@@hammerdancegaming I’m certainly speaking for myself, but when somebody says it actually feels like world if warcraft…. Those are the furthest things from what I think. Those are the exact things that don’t feel like world of Warcraft and what turned a lot of people off.
@@LazyrixI have played since vanilla and I do feel like TWW feels like Warcraft. I hated Dragonflight and was pretty cynical about TWW, but I can admit I was wrong. Dwarfs, Titans, Bugs, the light, the void. The zones remind me of Arathi Highlands and the old raids.
How does the gameplay actually feel? Everything you did seemed to have little to no challenge at all. Looked like you were fighting multiple mobs, taking no damage, and killing them within seconds. As someone that has primarily played classic, that is the big thing that keeps me from enjoying retail. It doesnt feel impactful. None of the combat looked interesting to me. It looked more like an ARPG of just blasting stuff down and moving on.
Leveling in retail isn’t going to be a challenge at all, I’m in insanely overpowered gear from last xpac. So for me, it won’t be challenging AT ALL. But for someone in normal leveling gear you may have a bit more of a challenge. It’s the same as going into tbc in full naxx gear, or wrath in full sunwell and by gear.
Leveling was never challenging at all. The challenge comes at max level and in retail you have so many options from mythic plus to mythic raiding and now you can even do mythic keys solo with the new dwelve system.
Okay so Ive been playing SoD. Is this xpac actually good? I feel like everyone always says "this xpac is so good!" but theyre never actually that good. Im SO down to play Retail. I just dont know if I trust any reviewers. I played a TON of Vanilla, TBC and WOTLK, stopped playing and picked it up at the end of Legion, then walked away at the end of BFA. Now im back on it. I just feel like theres so much extra stuff to pick up on now.
Thats a tough one, trying to get a balanced view is hard especially when it comes to mmo’s. There are acti-blizzard shills who will say the slop is great and there are people who despise acti-blizzard and will say it’s all crap. The best test is whether you think dropping £40 on the xpac is worth the risk for yourself. If you do and then regret it then, imo, take that as your reasoning to not buying any future xpac again. This is the position im at and that was due to SL & DF being awful (imo).
I will give you my honest review. I played wow from vanilla and quit in WOD. After a few years break I came back in the middle of shadowlands. Gave it a try but ended up not enjoying it at all. Took another year break and came back for Dragonflight. First month was kinda overwhelming the game changed way too much since I last played it. Classes had so many new tools and the new talent trees made it even more difficult to get back to. I am a PvP player btw. After that first month I started finally getting back into the game and had a blast until blizzard gave some classes a rework, I am talking about ret paladins and broke the game. I quit for a few months after that then came back at the end of the expansion and had some fun. So far TWW seems like its going to beat DF in every way but we have to wait. My advise to you is if you looking for something like classic WoW just stay away from TWW but if you looking for a new age WoW (like it was in Legion and BFA) and don't mind spending a lot of hours learning the classes you if you will for sure have fun. There's so much stuff to do in retail.
@@andrecardoso6941 so I accidentally bought the super expensive version of TWW, thanks to Blizzard somehow quick-checkout being setup on my PayPal. No idea how that happened. So now I have to play regardless hahah

Dragonflight was a filler expansion to fix the classes, talents and other legacy mechanics in the game that needed updating. Overall the content was super mid but classes were amazing by Season 04.
I have never played Retail untill TWW and im raiding on 2 toons one in Cata and SoD lol good thing it will be easy to raid-log. Ohhh man TWW has me hooked 😂. I never thought i would play retail. First of all being able to pick an expansion and do content/level ANYWHERE is amazing and there were people also leveling in those zones. I picked Northrend and WRATH so to go back and have other people doing content is always nice. The leveling event was cool as well. Ive never leveled and got good gear together so fast 😂. 👍🏼 I’ve been able to level 4 toons to lvl 70 in just a few days and im sure others could to that a lot faster. It was fun not as grindy. They change the area for the event every few hours so that helps bunches. The quality of life items are cool too. I got early access so played some of the new content and the areas werent crazy and being able to queue for a dungeon and do it solo was something i wasnt sure about but nice. Since leveling tends to be easier I challenge/practice my aoe pulling which just makes for leveling and you can choose the level of difficulty during the questing in an instance which can be solo with Brannaling with dungeons and raiding. NICE!! I was able to be the leader in my solo/NPC instance so i picked where and how to pull who to pull. Since ive been leary about tanking even though ive done it with my guild the idea of getting practice without assisntance or people getting mad bc ur not steamrolling thru the mobs was a good. I can get experience on different levels of difficulty. So im definitely going to try out those classes ive not played before. I have to choose professions now so we will see how that goes next. Prolly going to raid log on my classic versions and the thought that TWW has two more expansions after this one has me giddy 😂!
