progression servers are the worst idea ever i feel bad for anyone that gets degraded by them. Era is the only good version of WoW because it's permanent with no power creep. dont degrade your players. simple concepts.

Back in Vanilla, it was something like this that i loved being able to use macros as my first tank, had 3 buttons that did everything and made me feel more confident knowing that I was doing "everything" possible to keep aggro. Was so annoyed when it was removed as a "normal" feature.

I wish they would play around with the hardcore idea, make it a quest chain that runs every ten levels with a good reward for each 10, gives the hardcore players someth8ng to flex with and adds a real adrenaline rush to the game without making it a restart each time. So if you made it to lvl 30 without dying then died at level 36 you can either keep your lvl 30 hardcore item and just play on, or reroll. Or something like that, I really enjoyed the Hardcore experience, but could only sink the time so long before it just wasn’t worth it. Sure maybe I’m casual, but you want casual players to stick around, gives you someone to flex on haha. Also in that vein we need epic solo class quest chains that give end game items. Make them extremely hard, but it allows more casual players who are very good but can’t raid consistently to slowly grind via skill to be full equiped end game. If it’s earned not bought I think that would be cool. Also no more run throughs for dungeons or questing, ai can stop that and the other lame hacks which steal the true achievement satisfaction.

Not holding up much hope for it at all, just waiting for the Turtle wow upgrade and fresh to return to Wow at this point.

unless you are disabled dont bother. tried it with frost dk, it was ok. just ok. tried it with arcane mage and it was diabolically bad. it did evocation while im in my arcane surge window and randomly put mirror images mid way through my big cooldowns lol

1/1/1 year rolling refreshes with dedicated era realms, release all raids on release of each, have seasonal leaderboards for each raid end boss or whatever for some competitive fun, maybe a prestige badge/achievement for each season, and if we absolutely have to make some money toss up some store mounts and keep out the boosts/tokens

It's important we don't rush a Classic fresh. 1 year is to little for all the content like levelling and gear up, so give us Classic 2 years -> TBC 1 or 1,5 years -> Wrath -> 1 year

I'll be honest. I see what you're saying, Man. I'm one of those players who likes to play outside of raid night all the time. The reason I enjoy playing even outside of raid night is because, back 20 years ago, I never got the chance to really play through BWL, AQ and Naxx. I'm loving the hell out of the game as it's kind of an easier/express way to go through the classic experience. But, all of that being said, if I did play through all of this content back in the day, I'd probably be one of the players raid logging and not wanting to waste their time investing in a character who will eventually go away. See you in Classic + ! <3 your content, btw Man.

It's absolutely hilarious people defend hekill and try to download gse. Hekill is 10 times more unfair then this. It literally tells you near perfect prio rotation and no it doesn't reach you anything. You just stare at it and try to keep up. You do not watch your resources, your cd align nothing, you just mash what you've been told to and actually do pretty good dps. This just helps you keep up at a very basic level. I personally find it hilarious, again, that people defend hekill as a proper fair alternative.

FYI, Era might be going away. Some of the signs point to them making Era a 'Progression' format, where it'll stay with the "OG Trilogy" of Vanilla, TBC, and Wrath. But progress through them and then reset.

I wish they would work with the potential of the hardcore idea, like make each 10 levels an achievement reached with the option of keeping you character after death e.g you reach level 40 without a death then die at level 41, you opt out of the hardcore quest and just have your level 40hardcore badge or item ect to show for it. Make it to level 60 for an epic endgame item ect. Maybe a free hardcore mount at level 40, just small things to show the achievement ect, make it a quest line. Also making epic solo class based and skill based quest lines so that the more casual player can earn epic gear in their own time, just make it extremely hard, why lose the casuals because they can’t progress because they can’t dedicated huge chunks of time for raids ect. I’m not talking about freebies for casuals, make them earn it, but in a way that those with less time can still participate.
