Pat Musi Racing Engines I watched the video yesterday, and I was impressed with the block design. I loved the 70 MM Cam, but you didn't talk much about the heads. I would like to know what degree valve angle you use in the 4.84 combo and if you have tried to use a 9-degree head on 4.84 Nitrous combo. "My guess is a 14-degree on that build"
Really would love to see Pat Musi develop a boost motor mainly a screw blown motor with the mans knowledge with the big cubic inch nitrous motors I really would love to see what he would come up with.
He did a 540 twin turbo with Lutz some time ago I thought, but Pat didn't say boost is not his thing. He said I'm a nitrous guy, I think like a nitrous guy.
@chuckfowler8875 in 2013 Jeff Lutz Pat Musi 540 twin turbo made an appearance in Jeff's 69 Camaro for drag week, and didn't he run it when he first started on street outlaws is what.
@jasonstormoen It did register what you said about the 69 Mad Max that was a Westside Machine motor as a matter of fact that same motor is in the GTO right now!
Put a *BIG* whipple or a BDS 12-71 in a van. Would be a sweet setup. May not be the fastest but it would be beyond cool taking a 12 passenger van into the 9s
I have a modified 2006 Chevy Express Duramax van that is a kick to drive. But any van with a big block and a 12-71 blower, that would be the ultimate! Even if it was tuned for the street it would still be way too cool for school
I had a Ford E350 with a 408W, made 515hp and 560 torque. Was insane. I used 4wd parts from an f350 to make it 4wd. Would go to dirt drags and do drag n drive events. Everyone laughed until I pulled the impact out and disconnected the exhaust after the long tubes. Holley EFI is a wonderful thing.
@@RadDadisRad That sounds like a killer van! I don’t know why the US has shied away from modifying full size three-quarter ton vans? If you don’t need to pull a gooseneck trailer a heavy duty van will do almost everything a pick-up can but better. But I do love my pick-ups
@@K-Effect I am a Chevy guy and I have a 07 LBZ duramax 3500 van with the same mods and tunes as my 10 LMM duramax 3500hd 4x4 crew cab and the truck blows the van out of the water when it comes to MPG. They are both comfortable with nice room and full entertainment but cross wind is harder on the van, but it pulls my 32' enclosed with my 88 Monte, got cart, and tools around the country real good when I need it too. And I won't sale it.
the original big engine master. thank you Pat
Nope that’s sonny Lenard
I think it would be a lot of fun and insightful to hear him talk about nitrous motors and how to view them/understand them.
Pat is a true Jem to talk to, and for sure has a wealth of knowledge about Nitrous.
Indeed, check out this story Musi Racing Engines wrote for Engine Builder: www.enginebuildermag.com/2021/08/pat-musis-love-of-nitrous/
ive been a huge fan of pat's since his days of racing...guy builds some insane motors.
Greazt looking block Pat!
Not a fan of nitrous. But PAT is one of top 3 guys in nitrous engines! Always looking forward to watch the competition perform ❤❤❤❤❤👍💯🇺🇸
Pat sounds like he has early parkensons. I hope not. Great man and a legend in every right. Thank you Pat. We love you.
MORE MORE MORE i wish he could have talked more about nitrous, Musi speaks, i listen
A true legend!
Genius, when it comes to motors, nitrous motors
I'm a big time pat musi fan......
I was really hoping to see a glimpse of a complete build. Thanks for the great video
We have a few more featuring Pat and Musi Racing Engines coming soon. Stay tuned!

SMX on next episode 💪💪
We've featured Steve and his SMX: ruclips.net/video/qL1iFjf7bv0/видео.html but could definitely feature another SMX or the SML soon!
Sounds like a motor Jack stand jimmy aka dr sprayemall would love.

@jasonstormoen Lutz has never had a Musi motor Westsde Machine has done all his motors for well over 20 years.

@jasonstormoen No Pat helped him with one of his motors Pat did not build the motor I asked Jeffrey that today!!!!

Definitely more exciting than Alex’s (LegitStreetCars) ProCharged LS in his 15 passenger van.

Legend
I noticed this engine doesn’t have hoops? Are they going to install them later or do they feel it does it need them because it’s not turbo charged
Nitrous is not as hard on head gaskets so probably not
Not sure whats bigger, the engine or pats head
He better hurry and get them in that 632 class because that small block is flying
Hmmmm, Hancock on the tag, Jamie's new 4.84 bullet??
By smoothening out those dishes, the piston heads would be cooler @ the back half of the run.
I need u Mr pat please I have 496 please n
Ya looks great. Wait I don't have 50k in my pocket but lint. Great millionaire engine. 👎
$50,000 will only probably cover the short block, Probably gonna be closer to $75-$80,000 with heads and intake. Way to expensive for my wallet !
Silly pat nitrous is for cavemen
Nos has been 350 1/8 mile facts
Fact: big block Ford has 4.9 bore spacing, the Chevy guys cried so they went to 4.84 bore spacing 😂😂
