You got proper sideways with that M7 on the first lap coming onto the straight 😂.
Thanks so much mate for the shout and linking. I am well up for some form of collaboration 👍🏻
I won't lie I was thinking that was going to end in tears 🤣🤣
Mate you well deserve more shoutouts and look forward to working together
Ninco has quite a few different motors, and would make this this a great video with a great NINCO car
Great stuff, Travis! Nice video, too! Thanks for the cool info!!!
Hi Trave love the little delta!! Interesting topic. I was not surprised with the results. I fine that motors with high torque are better under breaking and of cause they are stronger on take off. We race on a 27.1 meter wood track and I find that even over that distance the cars ant getting to there optimum revs. sometimes it's better to go for less rpm at a higher torque. you may also use a lower gear ratio for a similar effect.
Cleave tec is a fantastic channel full of hints and tip for beginners and pro's alike. yes he's a great bloke to. Take care Trav from your pal Helcat.
Hi Travis , great youtube yes motor are so important however it all depends if you can use them when club racing regards rhys watsonia
Keep in mind, that those engines are designed for rally slot, which is very different from circuit.
Anyway, rally slot almost exist only in spain, and in the north of spain and some of the islands...very niche hobby
That's a great vid, Travis :) As a 'chrono' guy it's all you can do to seek to get the maximum from each chosen model. I'd be an 'M7' guy any day of the week. Maybe upping a volt or two for a lower powered motor would otherwise help compensate? After rear tyres, I suspect the motor change is perhaps the best tweak with gearing ratios following in close behind? With a millisecond timer all this is perhaps about as much a 'guy of a certain age' can have in his shed?
Hello Travis, love these comparison videos. Did you forget to drop in the link for Cleavetech?
Link is in my video description but will add one to the comments
Kinda hoping the answer is "yes, it matters", got to justify the 30k motor in my (alas, no longer legal for anything I race) Mosler 😂- good point about the M3 though, being driveable is the limit. No point having a 50k motor if you can't dose out *just* enough power to get around the slowest corners on the track, and on some tracks they are very slow indeed! Can't win if you're not in the slot!
