Tails could materialize a megaman buster in sonic battle so I'm not too surprised by the blaster

Cyber Super Sonic's aura has yellow, blue, pink and red lightning colours. I think it's because he uses the power of his friends with cyber energy while he's in his super form

wouldnt it be amazing if the animation of amy with a tarot card was for a parry. if an enemy hits you she casts some spell that bounces the attack back at them
I like the idea of Sage being playable, like if this goes down well and Sega gets into their Spin-off bag we could see her in many of those games

I think it’s really nice that they’re incorporating Amy liking tarot cards into gameplay
I’m pretty sure they introduced her having Tarot cards since the sonic cd manuals.
Like I’m pretty sure the reason she went to little planet was because her tarot cards told her to go there to meet somebody special.
So it’s cute that they’re bringing it back I think it’s a nice addition

They added tarot cards because Tarot cards and Reuben dogs and bully foxes were offhand mentioned in the 1988 Felix the Cat movie, while they were looking for ideas to put in their guidelining material such as manuals.
Not much of a ripoff though because it was already influenced by Labyrinth with David Bowie. A lot of the stuff like Sonic's human gf, and everything being the fantasy dream of some daughter of a fighter jet pilot, were cut at the time.
It just surprises me that the update is coming so soon, i thought it would be like november or so

KNUCKLES SWEEP!! He was practically made for this game. His gameplay is centered around exploration. He could even have treasure hunting minigames. And I hope all the characters have some of sonics moves (the ones that make sense for them to have like spin dash and homing attack)

The new form is probably called Cyber Rush Super Sonic - ‘CYBER’ meaning he mastered the cyber energy to an advantage. - ‘RUSH’ meaning his extreme speed transferred to adrenaline and ‘only hope’ kind of thing. ‘SUPER SONIC’ The form boosted by this extra energy.

The technical term is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, but we call it Super Saiyan Blue.
We will call this Super Sonic 2. Super State 2 is a better term because it fits with all others that can go super.

1:02 I hope each character has their own abilities and combat (Tails’ flight, Knuckles’ Knuckle punch, gliding, climbing, Amy’s hammer slam, double jump, ect).
At this moment I would give Knuckles a new upgrade that is the new power someway like Saitama by using his fist and strength. Each punch in Max power would be a result of a hole in a mountain making a easy tunnel to the other side smooth as butter, ...with just a punch... imagine this can only happen if Knuckles stamina is Max.
Imagine if they added a new model option for knuckles with his cowboy hat; which changes his glide animation to the air walking thing he did in the ova XD
5:26 I think it's more of fan service, since there are depictions with a hand blaster like megaman made by fans, most notably, Sonic: Nazo Unleashed, where Tails shoots at Nazo just to be obliterated by Nazo.

Seems like they are merging IDW comics more and more with the main games and I say good. I really hope we see more of it. While we saw Amy do Tarot in Sonic CD it is a thing that was recently brought back in the comics and we had mentions for Tangle and Whisper in the game and they were in the forces gacha thing. So I'd love to see them show up as playable in something, they feel like their made to be solid playable characters.
My only gripe with it is IDW Shadow is not it chief.

The new Sonic form just seems like their is too much hype for it. This is basically Super Sonic with blue eyes and some more red fire around him. I hope there is more to him than this and perhaps they are only showing the beginning of his transformation. Like somehow they cyber corruption adds a power up to Super Sonic rather than a full new form. Also that would be very interesting if Dr Eggman and Sage are playable in the game.

Eggman probably playable to explain how he just so happened to find a chaos emerald out of thin air because there werent 7 emerald shrines in ouranos so you could only get 6 and seventh couldnt be obtained from the boss which may have been because getting it would have worked similar to giganto because they are basically the same model
amy is canonically good at fortune telling so maybe the cards arre a reference to that

What if Tails, Knuckles and Amy, all get a super form for boss battles
based on the teaser, whether or not this actually is how it works, the new form looks like it will go: Sonic --> Super Sonic --> Super Sonic 2. If this is the case, then there are going to be so many mods replacing Super Sonic 2 with Hyper Sonic or fan-made Super Sonic 2 (based on ssj2) and/or Super Sonic 3 (based on ssj3). Or maybe modders will make it Super Sonic --> Different Sonic Form.
I hope 10 to 15 years from now, if/when we get another Sonic form after this, its legit just Sonic's equivalent of Ssj3, Long quils, primal looking eyes, and that "I dare you to try me" stance
