Thanks for the video sorry to hear you have suffered the infamous airbag eco fault. Just a word of warning - even though the battery holds charge and starts the van your voltage may drop below a critical level when starting the engine if it is below par. This may damage the airbag ecu. Suggest you get the starter battery tested using a battery tester to check. If the battery is good the voltage shouldn't drop below 10v when starting from cold.
Hi thanks for the video. I have the same issue crash data want £520 for a new one recoded. Do you think it’s worth the extra money to get it recoded so it’s plug and play? Thanks
They are made by TRW who have multiple class actions against them in America as they are sub standard and have caused accidents and deaths from what I have read. They Do not have sufficient electric protection . They should all be replaced as a safety recall by manufacturers or dealerships. No component as important as this should fail unless it is what it is there to do
