Hi, great video, i am after picking your brains. I have a 2016 Boxer, but i do not have that block where the 25amp fuse is located, any idea where they may have put this fuse? I cant find a 25amp fuse anywhere in that location. Thanks in advance 👍🤦
Hi, I didn't do work on 2016 model yet, and beleive that model has add blue system. On 2015 model that 25amp fuse is for glow plug on dpf diesel injector. Add blue will have different type of injector so it could be fused elsewhere
I couldn't find it either you can fit 25 amp mini fuse or trim down 25 amp standard one. My one blew when I've fitted cheap DPF fifth injector. It was drawing too much power during regen. I had to fit genuine one and it's good now I hope it helps
@@mrfxr1695 thanks for replying. I’ve put a 30 amp mini fuse in until I can get another one . I’m not sure if it’s worked or not so here come my next question . I changed the fuse and drive it and it went back into dpf regen and limp mode . I kept driving it and the dpf regen stoped but limp mode was still on . I reset with obd and cleared the faults . I have driven it about 30 miles and had no faults have come back on . If the fuse I have used isn’t connected properly would it stop the dpf regen from working and would it bring up a fault ? Sorry for the essay
@@stezkeep1058 I'll help if I can. The fuse is for glow plug on DPF diesel injector (vapourizer). Power goes through the fuse to the relay and then to fifth injector. Likely cause can be faulty injector or damaged wiring. Sometimes, wire touches exhaust pipe and burns through. If vehicle is not in regen mode it will drive all fine because there is no power going through the wire, it only does during regen. If fuse blows immediately when regen starts I would suspect shortcutting on wire or infector. If fuse blows 10-20 sec into regen I would suspect faulty injector. As soon as fuse blows vehicle will go into limp mode with engine light on . Regen will stop in limp mode. Have you done any work on DPF system or around exhaust so far? Some damage might have happened during works perhaps On my van glow plug within injector stopped working and it couldn't vapourize fuel, so I've replaced it foolishly with cheap one. That one kept blowing the fuse, so I've got genuine injector fitted and it's all good now
Sorry, I've missed last part. If fuse is either blown, disconnected or not fitted properly, ECU will sense that and put engine into limp mode. Regen will not happen in limp mode
@@mrfxr1695 that does help me a lot . I think after I changed the fuse it completed the regen . I suppose I won’t know if it will blow the fuse until it regens again . Thank you
I'm glad clip is helpful. My question is, have you changed DPF injector by any chance? I had a problem after changing infector, it was only a cheap one from eBay. I had to change it again because it kept blowing the fuse. I've got intermotor one from euro car parts and is good now
@@mrfxr1695 sorry only done what you covered in the video, not sure if the problem is sorted yet as too much snow for a test drive. will update you if i have to go any further.
@@mrfxr1695 In the end I did have to change the injector but used a better quality one about the £300 mark. No problem so far. Did you find a supplier for the MTA 25a fuse? At the moment just cutting standard one down
Hie I have a 2014 Citroen relay and the fuse box is the one without the 25a fuse I checked the relays and swapped the vapouriser into another car and it's working fine and the exhaust pressure sensor as well if I try to clear the codes the dpf cleaning error comes up wether the engine is running or not it still pop up a few seconds after clearing the codes and I get the p1447 and p1490 error codes

12v cabin auxiliary stopped working on my van. Fuse is in this location, but i was unawere.
Very helpful video. Thanks
Thanks 👍
Thank you very much just the information I needed 😊
You're welcome👍

If you remove the fuse does it effectively do a dpf delete
No it doesn't, it's sets of engine management light and puts the van into limp mode
Brilliant thank you lots 👍👍
