    What do you think of the mower? Are you looking into buying this model or looking at maybe the SFC-30 and its castor wheels?

  • @cleancutslawncare
    @cleancutslawncare 2 года назад +3

    Been looking at these. We have 2 toro time masters. Been using my original one for 2 years. Haven’t had a real problem yet. Not 1 belt, transmission etc. pretty happy then the time master to be honest. And it’s used on 50% of our lawns. But I like these 30s a lot.

      If you decide to get one, get one with the Kohler engine! Do not get one with the Kawasaki. It's a great mower and cuts very well. It is heavy, so keep that in mind too. If you need to adjust the deck height much throughout the day, the way they have it sucks. So maybe look at my fix and consider doing something similar. I did an interview with Eamon Giboo about a week ago and he uses the TimeMaster. He loves it and uses it on every yard of his (I think about 46 or so) ruclips.net/video/XEx4CtCrLs8/видео.html. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    If the cables ain't messed up , the belts are this machine, have given me nothing but difficulty. The transmission failed with in 2 years . I don't even do that much work

    • @LawnCareNinja
      @LawnCareNinja  5 месяцев назад +2

      That's unfortunate. Mine will be 3 years old this year and I have not had any issue with the cables or belts. Maybe it was just put together wrong or overtightened? Thanks for watching and commenting!

    I hate mine so much, l have to keep buying gears for the wheels to connect the transmission plus it ways an absolute ton, especially where l live where the ground is relatively soft so it struggles, also feel like its under powered as it takes effort to get it moving. Mine hates weather, to hot it wont start, to cold it wont start. I will give it props for mulching tho, also had to replace the motor and transmission twice

    • @LawnCareNinja
      @LawnCareNinja  2 месяца назад +1

      Haven't had an issue with the transmission but the brake sucks. It's stuck on mine right now and it makes it very hard to pull the mower back. I'm going to get in there and remove it and the next mower I buy is going to be a Toro. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      @@LawnCareNinja Casters helped maybe a little but no one liked it. It's just heavy, positive rear axle so turning it requires manpower not the mower because both rear wheels have traction and don't allow the mower to turn.

    I have a 21” u think it would be better to get a walk behind or stand on vs a 30”? The cut times are my biggest killer so far with the push mower

    • @LawnCareNinja
      @LawnCareNinja  4 месяца назад +2

      If you can use the bigger mower on most if not all your lawns, it's a no brainer to get it. Increasing efficiency on each lawn is the key to making sure you make a good profit on the lawn. Having a bigger or faster mower, or one you can stand on which can dramatically decrease how quickly you get tired, is like a cheat code to making money. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      @@astrobogie2096 You're welcome, buddy! I have a 32" Exmark Staris-E (stand-on), 48" Wright Stander X (stand-on) and the Exmark Commerical 30 (walk behind). I do not use the Commerical 30 unless I have to like not being able to fit the 32" through a gate. Versatility is good, but if a gate is too small for any of my mowers mentioned, I won't take on the customer. I would love to use my 48", dubbed Big Bird, on EVERYTHING, but I cannot. I will use whatever I can use for the specific lawn. I hope that helps.

    You need to try the club cadet mower with the Kohler engine. See how good it is. A lot cheaper then the Exmark with the Kawasaki engine all it is a Toro mower make ex mark 3 to 4 times more for an exmark and all you are getting is a toro mower.

    • @LawnCareNinja
      @LawnCareNinja  Год назад +1

      Only issue with that is Cub Cadet isn't here in Denver to my knowledge. I know Exmark and Toro are essentially the same. The dealer I go to only has Exmark and one place has cornered the market for Wright and Scag. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    😂 two seasons down, and even though I've gotten used to it, I still hate the Exmark 30. The operation is still not intuitive, she's been in the shop way too much, and the parking brake literally does not last more than a few days to a week.

    • @LawnCareNinja
      @LawnCareNinja  Год назад +1

      That's a bummer. I have only had 1 issue with the brake, and I fixed it myself. I love how it cuts, and that's the only reason why I stick with Exmark. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      @@LawnCareNinja yeah, I just haven't had great experiences with new Exmark. I also bought a 60 two seasons ago, and that had more issues than a new mower should have, and I'm not one to abuse equipment, so it's not that.... I said it before I bought those two, and I didn't because my closest dealer is an Exmark dealer, but next time I'm definitely going with Scag. I just want to see how it does under pressure. I'll work out the dealer service logistics when it comes to that. Although with the 30, I would prefer the Scag to the Exmark next time, but that Ferris 32 has my interest too....

      Most properties in Florida, don't care if clippings are left in the lawn, so long as they aren't huge grass balls. Clippings aren't hurting the grass, until they become over abundant, than a dethatching can solve this.

      You realize virtually no commercial lawn care companies bag and haul, right? A premium service. Most people aren't willing to pay for that. In areas where they are, that's great. But it's a niche, what you want is definitely the exception
