Helpful video. Just picked up a Gravely 1548G Pro, only 1131 hours. Needs belts, blades and drive pulley, otherwise it looks new for a 2008. Bought it so I had a mower while I restore my Wheel Horse tractor, now I'll have a dedicated mower. Kawasaki is a nice motor, never had one, they're smooth.
Perfectly fine, my preference is belt drive for maintenance reasons. The thing to really pay attention to is deck maintenance as I’ve experienced Gravely stop making decks. My go to brand at this point is Scag.
Just picked up an older Gravely Pro-Walk 36. I used to work for Ariens and love their commercial units. The frames are super stiff so don't struggle with tipping in on a jack to get under the deck. I suggest running one front wheel up on a car ramp. Super simple and easy.
I mow my 15sqft with that mower I found on the side of the road lol but I am starting to look for a larger mower. When it comes to bigger machines they are more expensive on parts but they can also last a lifetime when taken care of! Great video, always enjoy them! 👍🏻
Great video! I have 5,000 square feet so a 21" mower is all I need. Anything more I feel might be overkill for my yard. But if I had a half an acre I'd buy a used walk behind commercial mower for sure
Used a Snapper 48" belt drive commercial for 30 years ,put new belts, tires & turned it over to my brother who needed a larger mower. I got basically the same mower only hydro ....... This one should out last me ........ :)
I have a 1996 Exmark Metro 36'' Walk Behind and that thing is a bear I was going to get a new John Deere W61M Walk Behind but it is $11,689! so I rather get another Exmark on the used market
I’ll found one just like that two days ago I don’t know how to use it and very great condition someone left it in somebody’s property and the homeowner didn’t want it anymore in their property so he decided to give it to me for 100 bucks and I don’t know how to use it that’s why I’m here trying to learn

Thanks. It changed the game for me. Hopefully you can find one as well.
@@JasonSeiberlich I hope so but I don’t mind mowing…..I find it relaxing 🤷🏼♂️ lol

It's an awesome experience if you need it.
I refuse to get rid of my lesco belt drive. Even fixed decks had better cuts than modern garbage today.
I could see that.
Thanks for the Vid, the Gravely was pulling you along at a little faster pace. Even tho the bigger width gets it done much faster.
Thank you. That's a power difference too I'm able to go faster where as the Honda can get a little bogged down if it's longer.

I love it.
May be too much mower for my yard but i think something like the Timemaster May hit the spot (for me)!
Oh for sure. Sub 10,000 that's probably the sweet spot.

Yea I hope mine never dies because new stuff is a fortune.

Question for you. What did you do to your putting green last winter to minimize winter kill??
Nothing. We were ski boarding on top of it down the hill.
Haha. Nice!
