Thank you for that oil type tip; I think this partially cost me a brand new engine last year, because the oil I used at the 10 hour oil change mark just _disappeared_ and I had a ton of non-work problems last year that distracted the hell out of me, so I definitely wasn't checking it often enough. But anyway, I'm pretty sure I used auto oil for that first oil change, so I suspect it broke down way too fast and destroyed the engine before I thought to check it and do that second oil change 🤔🤔

Absolutely the truth on having to adjust the cables after the first few runs, but great mower all around.

I love mine. Though it is fast and my hand cramps a bit trying to keep the walking speed more reasonable. Any tips?

I bought a brand new Xmark 30 in the spring of 2022.. as of today the machine has 150 hours on it it's been in the shop three times motor bolts falling out.. belts breaking ..and bushings in the PTO engagement are shot it does a great job of cutting but I would never buy another one

not sure what other 30" you're going to buy. Looks like all the 30 inch models get trashed in the comments section for falling apart. Guess you'll have to find one that falls apart the least.

If you want this to fit in the back of your SUV is there a way you can unscrew the push rack and fold it and put it back to start cutting?

Yes. It’s a bit of a hassle but can be done

I've owned a 36 exmark turf tracer for 3 years and it came with a manual which I refer to alot. I just bought a toro proline 54 and I have to look online for a manual. That is a pain

      Why the change?

    • @jeremyg7975

Carl's Mower and Saw. I use my 36 in for a few yards and then I use my 54-in for the rest. I had a 50in Craftsman residential zero-turn and that mower suck I just sold that one and bought the 54 in to take its place I really like the 36 because it gets me in small yards and backyards I have a mulch kit on that Mower and that's a really good finish mower. I'm not willing to spend more than $7,000 on a mower I run a small one-man operation and these two walk-behind suit my needs just fine and I didn't break the bank to buy them

Do not buy it for commercial use. Get a 32 inch Metro instead. Blade belt does not last long, stretches. Engine mount bolts shake loose causes the tensioner to go back and burn belt. Pulleys not serviceable. No powered reverse. Once you do tighten the engine bolts, replace the tensioner, you may have to replace the gas tank also (causes stalling in certain models that had the bad tank / canister) it runs fine. I only use mine for personal use. Not a good commercial mower at all. Better off buying a Timemaster residential mower which are also not made well.
