Same here! I was told to read the owners manual. I was like, naw I'm a guy and not the smartest so that's why I got the extended warranty when I bought it brand new. Happy mowing feller.
Just bought this machines little brother - the TS142K, in order to better get into the tighter spots between the trees and the fence line. Love it, so much quieter than my 19 yo JD D160 (now retired to snow plow duty), which probably has a 48” turning radius vs the 16” on my Husqvarna model. Thanks for the tips in the vid, I definitely want to ensure I take good care of this tractor and get another 20 years out of it!
This is an awesome video! I just bought one of these used, with 13 hours on it. Knew very little about this mower. You went through everything you need to know about this. Thanks a lot for the run through on this mower!
Great video by the way. This question isn't about the 148x. But rather a TS 242xd, but I'm hoping it's relatable. I just put a deposit down on a TS 242xd, (I needed the smaller deck to get through a gate)I'm getting this mower in about 2 weeks. My question is about grease zerks on these machines. The dealer I bought it from can't give me answer on whether there are zerks on the deck mandrels and I haven't seen any mandrel zerks in any pics of these machines. Also the owners manual I read online doesn't mention greasing mandrel zerks. I'm a big fan of preventative maintenance. Would you know if the 2024 version of the TS 242xd has zerks on the mandrels?......thank you
Where is a good place to get repayment filters and parts? I do not have a company that offers parts in my area. Is there a reliable place to order these online?
All it is is a 3614 filter. It’s also 400 hours in a Ford Motorcraft or P8 16 and a Fram pH 16 as a little bit longer than the FL 100 is for the 3614 in the frame but I wouldn’t pay the money for that Briggs filter not on your life it’s the same price or same internal everything in the drain back valve is made the same. I just sold a little bit more oil in the filter. The 3614 is almost exactly the same size
Wouldn’t recommend no 30 late 1340 Hotel Coral salamander Grille if you don’t run that you’re done aviation chill because it’s in Aireco Lynden Briggsdale G 31 because I want them and we’re out in a couple years so you buy a new machine I don’t want it to last 20 years like all my machines have running on 1540 Rotella it’s not that much thicker people read oil way to backwards 40 is the winner way so you’re not mowing grass in the winter time so that doesn’t matter that’s moved the 15 wide is the front number of the oil is the summer weight of it it’s a little bit thicker and it’s got a lot more attitude for high heat because it is diesel oil and diesels are just run the pits out of them
Nice video do you sell Husqvarna gas and battery products too l have Husqvarna battery products so far so good A lot lighter than Stihl products take care my friend 😁
A problem with those Briggs engines is the compression release cam stopped working. Expensive to repair. So, I turn the flywheel to the bottom of the compression stroke, go counter clockwise, and this gives the starter the momentum it needs to start turning. Works for me.
The best video on internet about TS148. Thank you!
Bought this model last July, your explanation was 10x better than I was told at my store- thanks a million man! Great machine BTW I love it.
Thanks for the feedback. Our goal is to help you get the most out of your equipment.

Amazing video, to the point and great tips, thanks! Would you recommend premium or regular gas?

What oil we have to use? 10w-40 or sae30?
He said it in the video. I think he said 30
Don’t the tires say max PSI at 10 in back and 14 in front on this machine?
Where is the oil drain at

Yes we do. Hoping to have some better stock soon so that we can do some videos. We do have a couple on their blowers.
What's with the deck it curves downs gets stuck as it's
As it's pain in the ass !! On 54 " deck gets stuck it's truely flawed Whoms it may concern s needs fixed Recalled now's !!
@@frankjones3671 Usually it means the mounting flange broke loose from the deck. Needs to be welded back. Agree, it is a flaw.
lol weight??
Trying to drive my lawn mower but it just clicks and a new battery what is my problem that's a clicking noise
