They looked similar until the center dropped in brightness, I'm guessing it entered a battery saver mode (which they must've disabled on the MacBook 🙄)
Giving CoPilot control over settings, a way to view the screen, and potentially file-management makes it a vector of attack - an unpredictable one at that. I think these rapid developments are cool, but concerning. More care should be put into the integrity of the OS. There should be hardware and software levels of isolation between AI processes and the user space to allow an easy cut-off if an AI task takes actions that are damaging. I really think Microsoft is rushing things to remain competitive

Exactly, This happened with macs when they transitioned as well. It was so difficult to work with legacy softwares, or ones that require some legacy dependencies. They're promising better emulations this, let's see what reviews say!
This is the BIG question. People paying this much for laptops expect them to run all their apps. It took Apple YEARS to get the major apps ported to M1. I still need to run x64 emulators sometimes and they are DOG SLOW

This highlight could've included more details. Realistically, a lot of this presentation is about battery life and barely demonstrates the power of the new NPU, except for Minecraft. I'm sure people will walk away thinking, 'but what can I do with it?' or 'is it worth the upgrade?'
Unbelievable the screen sharing and live feedback option just blew my mind. Imagine you can do that while working or in Excel not like the Copilot Plugin at the moment but with real voice interaction. Absolutely amazing!
It really is absurd how much more responsive Linux is vs. Windows. Already have have my rigs moved off, soon moving the rest. So very done with Windows...working with customers' daily issues really drives the point home how Windows is just horrific for productivity.

Will the search feature be finally improved? On macs you're able to find files almost instantly using words inside the word document or powerpoint etc, whilst in windows takes like 5 minutes and often just referring to file names instead of content

Doing some dodgy comparisons with the battery life. The middle Computer clearly has the brightness turned down while the Mac is still pimping max brightness. Still a great PC but it would be nice to see an honest comparison.

I am also going to pre-order the latest Surface Laptop and replace my Mac mini with it. Not only is Copilot plus PC impressive, but I have always preferred Windows for video games. Since I am subscribed to Shadow, it’s perfect for me-plenty of power and battery life to last a long time without charging, while still having access to my Windows in the cloud for gaming.

yeah chrome is disaster on privacy. It runs multiple scripts in background (which usually spy on users browsing) consuming ram as much as photoshop

Just install Linux Mint OS or Zorin OS. Windows will be full Ai going forward and they are blocking all work arounds.
