The reason why this feels flat compared to an Apple Keynote is that with Apple, they start with the problem first and build excitement and then introduce the product. Micorosoft introduces the product and then tries to sell it. That leads to polite applause and a feeling it’s lackluster.

I work for Accenture. We have problems selling Azure AI or any other AI agents. There is no market for them. None of them wanna hookup to paid AI agents. This is a big bubble, a facade...😢😢

it shows you are not in the IT industry. Imagine 100.000 PCs you have to secure, update, replace every 3 years, distribute software to it, fix problems, install new software. Imagine IT systems doing these jobs at company's data center. You also have to pay for sofware licenses, people, admins, data center, power, ventilation and so on. And now imagine that you do it all centraly. updates happen immediately, no admins, no hardware support, all clients are identiical, automatic updates by MS in the background and so on. and you are secure. did you get it?
Most companies are already subscribed to multiple MS services one way or another. Their O365 suite is pretty much necessity for most business. As for device needing internet connection to work? I mean in which role don’t you really need a working connection all the time? It’s a digital world, you can’t really do much of work without having a constant, good internet connection. Microsoft has a massive data center network, there is no way you will lose your connection to Microsoft. They will most likely make this device a part of bundle to make it more appealing to buy.

Not likely, at least not in Copilot's current incarnation. Copilot is barely useable, and certainly doesn't reliably replace any human process currently or in the near future. You'll see MS falling back to the "augment" line as it continues to miss on business process automation and 'productivity' promises.
