Yes, I totally agree: the rainbow as a symbol of Pride is one thing, but then using six (or more) colors as the overall decorative pattern for a patterned shirt is just too much. One looks like an "ice cream man" or a "candy man" from the 1950s at best, or a style-conscious clown at worst, and either one is pretty high on the creep factor for a variety of reasons in the current era.
I had 2 dads, and both are gone now. And guess what ? They were 2 heterosexual dads. One of my dads was my biological dad, who made me and the other dad , my step-father is the one who raised me up. Jesus had the same thing, God was Jesus's biological father and Joseph was his stepfather who raised him from infancy into adulthood.

That second shirt with pride written 3 times was terrible!!! The colors weren't even the rainbow, and were in such random order. They were all bad, but i found that almost comical. Dont know how those shirts made it to production. Also just want to say, you are the best Nick! I discovered Mateo because I fall asleep watching standup on RUclips, the first time insaw Mateo I definitely didnt fall asleep lol. Then I quickly doscovered you through his channel! I find you both so funny and so genuine. You guys have both helped me feel more comfortable being my genuine self and coming out to more people. Keep up the awesome videos!

Then the whole attack on LGBTQ+ people as “groomers” happened and Target got scared. Now they’re just offering Pride merch and pandering so they don’t miss out on a little bit of money. I know it’s more expensive and not everybody can afford it (most of the time I can’t afford it) but try to buy from LGBTQ+ owned sellers on Etsy, Zazzle, etc.
I think the mug is more for allies to purchase, some comments were saying for example teachers, and I was thinking as a manager in a workplace it would be nice have and/or see someone with. Also yes, keep reviewing!! I love your perspectives

Nick, Target’s HQ is in the Midwest! They cater towards their biggest demographic which is midwestern housewives/moms. I feel like a lot of the shirts are designed more for the Allies like moms or aunts of the gays. Which is nice they can support without it being “too much” for a Sunday bbq and then target can make more money.
I am interested in the dress Nick mentions, the linen-y one. Go back and get the dress. The rainbow flower peace sign had a Grateful Dead vibe. I love these segments. TY!!
