Bobcat used to make the best skid steers around. That hasn’t been true since the 90’s though. Hopefully it doesn’t screw you too bad, but Bobcat is junk now.

Been an issue on this channel and many others. Thrashing to make events, then working with what you got instead of what you need. I know the deal, it's just not a good deal. I can't imagine the stress and sacrifice and hustle, every day. I wouldn't last two months living like they do.

Bobcat makes a bigger fuel filter for that thing to help keep trash out of the fuel system. Highly recommend getting one put on her, those high pressure pumps are famous for coming apart with any amount of debris getting to them. Also if you don’t have a bucket positioning valve on it you can get a dual filter setup… bobcat also sells that kit
As a prior Bobcat service manager it Wouldn't be my first choice. Hope it treats you well.About once a month lift the cab and clear out the rubber drains on the Condenser cover to keep that cold air.
Edit: Keep clean fuel they are notorious to eat fuel systems.
I am a cat heavy equipment mechanic. I haven't worked on the small stuff in years but I know the cat skid steers are notorious do too fuel system, engine and aftertreatment failures. No way in hell I would buy a newer skid steer. I would buy a older model and rebuild it.

I think all modern diesels are getting that way. DD 13/15/16 even see a spec of dirt, bam fuel system, run it dry? Fuel system. Don't prime it properly 1 to many times....fuel system. Duramax and powerstrokes, same. Seems like only Cummins has a sturdy system anymore. Aside from the 19/20s Rams when they tried to use a cp4.2
Minus the buggy fuel and exhaust issues that’s one of the best skid steers ever made .
Yeah, the SVL97 or TL12 would have been better options, but it's too late now.
The new Bobcat should be called "White Claw" and get hooked up with White claw wrap or White Paw

So what I’m hearing is. Instead of rushing Leroy running 2 passes at FL2K and breaking something. We will have a thorough walk through precision build with plenty of test and tune before world cup A.K.A a lot of Leroy content coming soon. Can’t wait 😎👍

@@dustyc324 right, at the very least we might see some big time adjustments when cleet has the chance to start things up, but once they do get him dialed in, I don't see them having much issues. As you said, if things break, they can get to it quickly and they have all of the adjustment ability that could be had otherwise.
I can see about 3 minutes of Leroy video in our future and that’s about it … we have seen not even half of his rebuild so I can’t see why he wouldn’t show us half the testing either . We will get like 2 passes and that will be it
They will wait until it's a week from next year's fl2k then decide to do it then be shocked when they can't do it in 5 muinets

We've had a 2013 S860 on our property for a few years now.. Pre gov-juice model. No AC, but it was instrumental in our shop build and so many other tasks. 0 issues beyond regular maintenance.
Best to not rush such an intensive build. Props to you guys for making the difficult but right decision 👌🏼👌🏼

I'll ask you what I asked Garret, Why do American operators never use a 4in1 or 6in1 bucket? They are just about standard fitment here, it's been years since I've seen a GP bucket on a skid steer.
PS: That thing is a freaking beast! It puts my T140 to shame, LOL.

Bobcat is by far the best brand of skidsteer. I work at a landscaping company so we have a ton of equipment we use on the daily over a bunch of different jobs. We have a T76, a T62, T595, S630, S220, we have 2 763's, 2 753's and a MT 100. Some of our older skidsteers like the 763s have over 7000 hours and still run strong. We stand behind bobcat through and through.
Good job on the bobcat. I used to be a technician for a berry companies dealer. Very quality machines if you take care of it it will take care of you. The M series loader is a much better loader than the new R series as they are still working out the electrical issues they have

Built in Gwinner ND, Now if you had a sweet Bobcat lawn mower you would be set. You probably can get some longer forks/extensions so that you can lift cars from the side easily.

I use the same size bobcat in the scrap yard but we run airless tires. I love operating equipment. these are so versatile with the attachments. They make a mulching head for it too! Congrats on the new rig, give the (S)Hyster a break.

I just worked on one of those big Hysters recently. It had a 4.3L GM V6 in it. That thing ran so good. Never been a fan of the 4.3 but as far as forklift motors go, that thing was smooth and powerful.
I never had a bad day with a 4.3.

Totally understandable about Leroy and anyone complaining should remember how much many of them complained about no testing in the early days of the channel as well as a freaking hurricane just hit down there.

We have a Hyster forklift at work from 1997. It has no safety devices on it and osha cant do anything about about because it is grandfathered in due to its age. Its super reliable, and durable, despite being rolled over multiple times from overloading. It still drives drives faster than you would want to ever drive a forklift. Its the oldest machine we have at the shop but its the one everyone wants to use.
It would be cool to see more of the behind the scenes stuff with the FF crew on running the track on the Cleetus2 Channel!

we have a old bob cat its like 70s model but its not a diesel, it has a gas engine so its not the strongest but she has been one of the handiest things we've ever owned.

I have a t870 at work and it’s a beast the only thing I’d warn you about is the left window has been broken 3 times just by opening it normally but the right one has never broke.
