The last few minutes of this video is a perfect example of how good a dude Cleet is and why I would say #1 channel on my list. Talking about going out to help others after the storm, obviously super stoked for the winner of Donnie 2.0, let him rip the FF and then sends him off with some brand new rubber because he noticed a few chunks out of the tires. I know on the Roman Atwood podcast you said your channel will never explode because you don't have the shock factor but there's something to be said for just being an all around good dude brother.
Don't have the shock factor, what about LS George doing mad wheelies? Having no brakes and running off the track at 100mph?? Flipping a V8 Fiero??? I love the attitude and prep for the hurricane. He thought about power going out, mentally prepared for old structures taking damage, get the cars and boats (and tank lol) as safe as possible, wants the crew to be safe and then saying, "we will go out and pick up the pieces and help out whoever needs help". We need more of that these days!

I keep praying Cleetus and crew will understand worldly possessions will pass away and only what is done for Christ Jesus will last. I can just see the stress in Garrett's face I bet he never thought at this age he would be stressing about things like that but he's built quite the empire and has quite the responsibilities now to look after he has a lot of people depending on him financially for their families and you can tell how serious he takes it
When you are faced with the thought that everything you love family, friends, work, the sights that you enjoy, the things you have built with so much love may be changed forever well, I don't know anyone who wouldn't be thinking of the immediate future and stressing hard!! @David Van Budgie True but from an owner's point of view he is also thinking of planed events and the setbacks to infrastructure, also the wait times given the fact that he will put his personal repairs to the Freedom Factory well behind folks needing home rebuilds. Garret is not the kind of guy to act like a wanker to get in front of others in need for personal gain. This problem has so many layers it is hard for anyone to see how it could end up, and he would be thinking of all of them at once.
I'm heading that way tomorrow morning with the boys. We'll be there to help restore your community for a few weeks, all the way from Ohio.

Please wire your generator into your house properly. Done incorrectly it will backfeed into the mains and can injure or kill the linemen working to restore power. Just looking out for you and those hardworking folks that help rebuild!
100%. I’ve installed them with my dad for over 10 years with our business, they aren’t difficult to install properly, but just as easy to get wrong
Wired properly or not, if the main breakers are closed, it's going to backfeed regardless. Simply shut off the main breaker, and the house is isolated from the grid.

I remember years ago after 6 days of rain during Spring Break Shootout, the track was nearly completely under water on Friday. Crazy enough they still raced by pumping out the track, good luck guys hope everything works out, for you and everyone out there.

Yeah I've live in FL my whole life. It's no biggie. All these people that recently moved here are out buying every piece of plywood in the state right now. Hell when I was younger me and my friends would be outside having hurricane parties and getting hammered. Good time lol.

Grew up in Manatee County and went to the Freedom Factory when it was DeSoto Speedway probably 100s of times w my dad on Saturday nights. We never had anything like this head on, i really hope the flooding doesnt destroy the brand new drag strip or what Cleetus has built
im 1200 miles away in PA and i can feel the hurricane from here the temp has dropped from 80 to 50 so i cant imagine what its like for yall stay safe

@@Is-Mason Yep, and that'd be bad enough but its not just a likely-to-be-CAT 4, inland is still pretty swamped so all that water will help Ian keep pushing inland for longer than it would normally. Its gonna be rough, but Floridians are gator wrestling champs by nature, I have faith they can handle this just as they have the other big ones, like Labor Day, Andrew and Michael the 5s, or Irma and Charley the two more recent 4s, its interesting how the severity of the hurricanes hitting Florida has been on a decline since the early 1900s, more 3s and less 4s but with slightly higher chance of a sudden 5 like Andrew and Michael.

Looks like we all dodged bullet around Bradenton. I have a vacation home in Bradenton right on the Manatee river. I was happy to see the storm blew all the water out of Tampa Bay. That allowed the River to drain. I feel sorry for the people south in Naples and Fort Myers. My prayers go out for those that lost everything.

Look after yourselves guys. But please don't ever use a generator to backfeed your home or connect one to your distribution board unless it's properly set up for it by an electrician. You can easily make the power lines that normally supply your home live and hurt the guys fixing things damaged by the storm. It's illegal in most countries and electrical workers like myself would like to stay alive. Just run a lead from the generator and plug your essentials into that.
I'm about 1.5 hours North of Tampa Bay, hoping for the best. Stay safe my Florida Brethren!
