Cleetus is such a stand up guy. This was our first event to go to. He surprised my son by giving him the time slip for ruby's fast pass. Can't wait for the next outing.

Was the two guys who put the transmission back in and pinched the hose, was cool af of Cleet not to give them hell for it, least on camera.. I'm sure they felt horrible about it already. That was a really expensive case of ooops that went down there.

Well whoever did it doesn’t matter . A good seasoned tech,boss, or whatever knows to accept the fact that mistakes happen just learn and move on. Now if mistakes continue we may see a more emotional reaction. It’s the bosses that blame and put down guys that fail. Negativity gets you nowhere .
I love every time Kevin is on your channel. He is such a happy and nice guy. Just puts a smile on my face all the time. Also Kyle from boosted bois seems like a genuinely nice guy as well. Cleetus has a good group friends.
You can deff tell the type of guy Garrett is with the people he keeps around him. It's so refreshing to see genuine ppl who haven't let the youtube fame go to their head.

The coilovers are probably designed for more weight. You pulled so much weight off and moved a lot of weight to the front so the rear is mostly riding on spring and not allowing the shock to control the movement of the rear end

That was the first Cleetus event I've been to since I started watching last year, and I gotta say that was a lot of fun. Getting to see everything that happened and all the bantering and harassing Uncle Chet was great. A lot of the crowd there were great to be around, but the cherry on top was getting to meet Sam. He's real kind; talking to and getting a picture with him really topped off the night.
That said, I can't wait to go again! Hopefully I can bring someone with me for the Christmas tree drags in December.

The only problem I see with this concept is all of their cars are stupid fast compared to the average person who watches this channel.
Maybe a spectator shoot out and the fastest few cars get a shot at one of their cars. Even guys with 700 hp cars aren’t getting into the 10s so most of the Cleeter crew would be beating everyone by 3-4 seconds.

Ruby was on it! Hopefully y'all will figure out Leroy. There's a lot to still figure out with the suspension and now the new engine even though it's pretty similar to the last one. We all need to take a second to appreciate these Rod Shop engines in the burnout cars. Those guys sure build some insanely strong engines.
Edit- Its also amazing to see what a quality tuner does for consistency in a car. Id like to see the real good at doing stuff guy dial in Leroy with Cleetus.

21:02 Cleetus with the dodge viper one of the things they did to make it handle was actually soften the shocks so it could take bumps and took some chasis bracing out with the T/A model that came about after motortrend tested it against the outgoing ZR1 and found that was faster, do that and see if it helps, as it might be too stiff to handle and put the power to the ground right now

@@JB0804 he’s gone 1.10/1.11 in the 60ft and power to weight very close to the elco if not better. Should easily get 6.7s or faster if it makes a full clean run while turned up.

If changing shock settings don't decrease bounciness under power then the rear spring rate is too stiff. The video seems to indicate this, on launch the rear suspension doesn't articulate at all, the entire car is jammed down on that tire, and when it unloads/rebounds/bounces, you spin. This goes for launch and the 1-2 shift. The car is lighter since the back half, and those springs were probably ordered before the car was chucked on the scales.
LeRoy is back with a vengeance!! My boy is running better than ever!! LeRoy is definitely my favorite car on the channel! Obviously I love all the cars but LeRoy is my fav!!

Should get the shocks John Doc uses I think they are QA1s with adjustable valve packs so u can change valving easily tell you get it sorted out.

On the bikes I've had a shock loose all it's adjustment. In the shop, set it full soft and jump on the back of the car. Then set all full hard, then jump on it. Is it making any difference ? It could also be that one has failed. If you have a motorcycle suspension race shop nearby, they should have a shock dyno. That will show what the rear 2 are doing and the ratings of them.

TKM do good packages. They contributed to both the current stick shift record holder and the previous holder. Also have the 1/8mile hydraulic roller LS record at 4.12 with Blacksheep car using one of their in-house engine packages
