It has been amazing to watch the progression of everyone (and every car) on this channel. Thanks for bringing us along and letting MILLIONS of us experience the journey as well!!!
Not sure you y’all saw it but in the 28 minute mark pull the right rear wheel was throwing sparks during breaking at the end of the run… just a heads up
Sooo glad Leroy is back! I’ve been watching the channel for years now. 49 year old living vicariously through the Cleetus team. I remember when Leroy first ran 7’s and I was working away from home and went into work at the clients and was telling the boys how this guy on RUclips was running 7’s with a stick in a Corvette carcass. Then I brought the RUclips’s up on my laptop and we all watched. Good job!
No brakes sparking IS normal if the pad material isn't hot enough. Once the pad/rotor get up to temp (>500*F) it ceases to be a frictional surface and transitions into adhesion! When the brakes are up to temp they actually STICK to the rotor.
This is also why "warped rotors" is an old wive's tale. Coming down from a high speed to a stop will get the pads and rotors over 500 easily. Then as you sit there at the light, holding the pads against the rotor, it cools and leaves some pad material were it sat. Then the next time you get into operational temperatures more pad material is deposited in that same spot compared to the rest of the rotor. And as you continue the brake shudder gets worse and worse. After a HARD braking session, pop the vehicle in neutral, get off the brakes, and let the vehicle roll about 8" forward. Then stay off the brakes until you see cross traffic get the yellow light. You'll never have brake shudder again.
Man , you guys have too much fun ! Running strong. Excellent Driver and Excellent Crew. You got what it takes, have fun and be safe. You guys are living the Dream...
Yep, Leroy will definitely exceed expectations. Especially when he finally adds all those bald eagles to it. Can't wait to see Leroy at his full potential.
I remember not too long ago Cleetus said they maxed out Leroy and kinda shelved him because he was as fast as he was ever going to be. Fast forward to now and Leroy is crushing it. Crazy. One thing I'm curious about, what were the sparks seen when he launched and when he shut it down coming from the right side of Leroy? Something to do with the brakes maybe? I hope it's nothing serious. Great job everyone. And, who else has noticed Coop making a few appearances? I'd love to see him come back to the team. 💯💪
It’s so happy to see Leroy, Mullet and Ruby somewhat all running amazing I remember when they would make a hit and something would go wrong. so many smiles in one video you can tell this is his and all of his crews real passion

LEROY is my boy I have seen this car I real life and the elco and my favorite at gas alway been Leroy I have been watching for 6 years and Leroy still has a special place in my heart
The Leroy journey following FL2K is just incredible. You guys are on one hell of a heater. This race season is frickin LIT!!!!
They've put in the work and now they're finally reaping some rewards!
Seeing the whole team so hyped by what you've all achieved is amazing, well done guys you've smashed it yet again
Garret could not possibly have a better team than these guys.the raw talent and the right knit brotherhood. Awesome team all around.
Got to appreciate the set up on that rear end 12:52 that extension was amazing. That rear tire almost disappeared from the picture. Good job guys!!!
Still remember when Leroy was first built and had a Blower running 10’s and 9’s. To see how far you guys have taken him is incredible. Keep up the great work cleeter and the rest of the team much props to all the work done to date!!
Where is Steve Morris?
@@timskiff9422 getting his wagon going again and testintg after the mass exodus of rods
Holy crap didn't expect Leroy to get lined out that quick! Y'all are killing it!
I absolutely love the way Cleetus and crew film. Sitting in my garage, I feel like I am there with them. Just as pumped as they are watching this all go down. Thank you fellas.
It has been amazing to watch the progression of everyone (and every car) on this channel. Thanks for bringing us along and letting MILLIONS of us experience the journey as well!!!
The BOV on Leroy puts a smile on my face. Also, those brakes were putting in work on the pass with no CO2. Sparks were flyin!
I'm glad some else knows why that happened besides me everyone else is freaking out about that
I love getting the side shots because sometimes it's hard to tell just how fast these puppies are going. Amazing work, team!
the intensity in cleetus face as he shifts gears is LIT.. love it.
Not sure you y’all saw it but in the 28 minute mark pull the right rear wheel was throwing sparks during breaking at the end of the run… just a heads up
Absolutely love these longer videos. Most of the time I’m watching at work and it makes the time fly by.
Good job!
29:44 through 29:48 all the SPARKS off of Leroy's RR brake is bananas!!!
I was gonna comment the same thing. Hopefully they take care of it before WCF.
And 32:34
That got kinda hot....something boring right there.
Cleetus has the same size smile driving Leroy as what George does driving the Blazer. You can tell how much he loves Leroy.
I’m hype to see Leroy again I’ve been here since his project started before everything, I love seeing how far this man has come
It’s so happy to see Leroy, Mullet and Ruby somewhat all running amazing I remember when they would make a hit and something would go wrong. so many smiles in one video you can tell this is his and all of his crews real passion
I am so happy for you young men and thankful for all your hard work and allowing us to come along.
I'm just so stoked about all the cars working so well and "Leroy the Savage" is back baby and I'm betting they're going to watching him from behind at World Cup.
I really needed something to make me smile as my father passed today around noon central, so I really needed this.
Thank you again for being out there and making it happen everyday, for reaching out and grabbing that bull by the horns, thanks you so much.
God Bless...
God bless
Gentlemen, this is a victory in life regardless of the results on the track. The cars have come together, but what’s been amazing to watch develop is the team. The pride, excitement, and camaraderie this bunch exudes is a wonderful thing to see. From the rest of us, thank you all and God bless.
The quad flame 2-step check on Leroy is absolutely absurd!! Let’s go Leroy!!
5 flame @17:57. Boost leak?

Cleeter, this was one of the coolest things I've ever got to witness and it wasn't even live. You're the only person I'm actually proud of to see your accomplishments that I've never met. Been watching for 5 years and i will definitely be here in 5 years to continue watching the fam expand. Thank you for the content and the privilege to watch you to continue to grow and succeed.. It's been a pleasure. Luv you guys and great luck at world cup. I will be watching from home!
THE WHOLE THING IS JUST GREAT AS ALL HELL HEY?
The smile's this team has man, just contagious!!! So happy for you Garrett !!all your team's hard work , dedication and persistence has definitely paid off. We're so happy for you all!!!!
Man, the Mcfarland racing team is really coming together. Love seeing you guys all progress as a unit. keep it up fellas
Dude ty is a BEAST SONNNNN!!!!!!!!! he is a hard worker and it shows for sure !!!! And the other guys y'all good to yall are all a good family race team 💯💯
Holy shit look at Leroy go.... gonna need to get all of that boost sorted for Grannas and Grub Worm, but the way he's launching I can't wait to see how world cup plays out. Best of luck to the whole McFarland crew
Seeing all the cars back up and running for the most part made me think, how cool would it be to do a 1/2 mile drag race all side by side of the whole lineup?
They don't have enough gear to go much past the quarter. It would require some decent changes
@@nathanhaupt6485 plus at that rate they would all be over the mid 200s
@@1VETaLEK2 yeah also true and not sure what cage requirements that would carry that the cars don't have
@@nathanhaupt6485 I hate that your right about this
Get the Blazer and go 4 wide at Charlotte. I would get a poster with that on it.
These boys are throwing it all out there for the world to see and killing it. Keep up the great work gentlemen.
Cleetus and the team have made so many good and life altering decisions from the get go and along the way. Cars are looking so fresh. The team is solid and the content is on point. Yall deserve everything ya get.
Seeing Leroy back better than ever fires me up. Love it
been lurking here for years, i've never been so hyped up about something before...watching leroy grow into this is so damn inspiring
The sparks coming off the rear passenger caliper at 20:45 is quite satisfying
sparks coming off the brakes at 29:44 🔥
Yeah when parachute failed. Damn
Was looking to see if anyone else spotted this. On two occasions, same wheel.
@@craigrobertson3381 me too. those sparks are not coming off the brakes, and if that are, they shouldn't be.
@@Lusty_Wench I can't im sorry lol
Brother, I am so stoked for you guys! What an amazing group of individuals who constantly want to do better, and do so. I'm sad as I am in south africa 🇿🇦 and can't watch you live but I absolutely love the content your team provides. Your team deserves a massive round of applause 👏. Keep the energy flowing.
Love how Cleetus owns all the cars and pays all the guys and he still has to explain running the full pass 😂😂
Its funny to think about. But, Just shows how good his team is. Not a bunch of yes men.
He doesn't own all the cars mate.
@@22Epic ? He bought the cars so he owns them?

Also because he has a bunch of sponsored parts on the car, that are very expensive.
the joy on your face when you realize your in for a hell of a ride is fucking priceless!!! Nicely done Cleetus and Crew!!!!!!
Hell of team feat right there! You can tell Cleetus has all the right people in the right spots for the task at hand! That end cap shows he knows he’s got a team thats ready for whatever and couldn’t be more thankful .
It is just so great to see Leroy again. Especially because this is Leroy 2.0 we don't know what will happen or what to expect out of Mr. The Savage. I love being able to follow along and experience the ups and downs all over Gain with Leroy. Good luck guys!
Mr. The Savage 👍

Check out the fire coming from under the throttle body on the 2 step test at 17:57.
That training 💪 that dedication 👏
I think what keeps me coming back to this channel other than the great content is Cleetus's use of the word "WE". He is a true leader for this crew!
I felt it in my bones after that first pass from Leroy, You two will be the fastest stick again... no doubt!
Did anyone else notice the ball of flame out of the bov on Leroy’s last two step check at 17:57?
I did but what was that spark out of the passenger rear axle area @28:46 just as the car is passing last D in the Speed World banner? Might be important seeing that sparks shouldnt be coming from that area.
If we put it in slow motion you can even see the flames inside the turbos wow and look at the brakes at 19:38
I think it's the brakes
That fireball threw me off, pretty sure fire isn't supposed to come from there, since there is only supposed to be air in the plenum. I think that was a backfire that mighta damaged something.
Probably why they are not building boost like they want.
I'm so excited to see Leroy in action again brother!!! Shift on!!
Same brother!
Actually really cool to see the changes work while the boost wasn't coming in. Such a great team
Hit me up🔝🔝🔝👉🎁🎁
Hell yeah brother! Leroy is what brought me to this channel. I remember when it was supercharged with that lsa setup. Crazy to see how far it's come. I definitely enjoy the Leroy content more than anything else you guys do. Keep up the great work fellas!
