I remember when I was excited to see him run a 8.2 back when 1320 video said that Cleetus was running him so consistently that it was like he had a auto in it.
That 1st time he went 7s, they'd lifted heads at 180, sprayed coolant onto the tyre. Scary af, so they ran him without coolant and managed. Still most epic test n tune I've ever watched.
Racing aside, this video made me so happy to watch as a father myself. A lot of us have been watching the channel for so long as parents and now seeing you both with your own is such a heartwarming feeling. Love all you guys and I’m thankful for the content you make and the community you’ve created.

When it's the driver shot of Cleeter, and you can see the side of the track, try and identify stuff as he passes by, and just notice how at the end the lightpoles are happening a few times a second, it's kinda wild if you never look away from the sideline.
I admire that Cleetus and Leroy have been riding dirty since they have been going 9s. It's so menacing how much power they're putting down to break away from the aero forces holding them back to get in the 6s. Freaking insane and inspiring.
It makes me smile to see how pumped ole cleeter gets with that 7.08. He really makes me root for him, sweet to see a man getting so close to a hard fought victory. It's not disappointing to me at all, you all but got it here and I know it will happen.
James is great, So performance focused, always looking for improvement in the maschine and the driver for when it matters, a real athlete coach in many ways

Wow that clutch seems like it's gunna be really temperamental ..gotta learn what it does and doesn't like and definitely have a spare or two handy lol .. definitely doesn't last as long as your other clutch but it does what you needed to do a lot better on the launching .. excited to see where you take it.. you didn't think going 6s would be any easier I hope... I'm curious if you maybe need to adjust the clutch spacing on a brand new clutch after the first run or two... I know nothing about these slipper clutches but I know y'all have mentioned that it's super important to get the spacing right and I'm just wondering if the initial break in wears a little quicker at first and could be why the 60ft was slower on the 2nd run

I believe it's more of bumps in the asphalt at the end of the track than breaking the tires loose from power.

Wow that clutch seems like it's gunna be really temperamental ..gotta learn what it does and doesn't like and definitely have a spare or two handy lol .. definitely doesn't last as long as your other clutch but it does what you needed to do a lot better on the launching .. excited to see where you take it.. you didn't think going 6s would be any easier I hope... Leroy makes you work for your goals more than any other car haha... Always has...
I believe any clutch would be temperamental if you throw >2000hp at it

It's the difference between a single and twin disc. More discs more to wear out each pass and adjustment is more important.
The faster you go the more temperamental clutches are. That's why a clutch man is such a asset

I'm curious if you maybe need to adjust the clutch spacing on a brand new clutch after the first run or two... I know nothing about these slipper clutches but I know y'all have mentioned that it's super important to get the spacing right and I'm just wondering if the initial break in wears a little quicker at first and could be why the 60ft was slower on the 2nd run
I believe they did say the clutch loosened earlier in the video but that it was still fine, doesn't need an adjustment
