Yep, close to, if not 20 years ago. My late uncle used to Wire a lot of these cars, I'm pretty sure he did Lynch's too. He was way ahead of his time, and really showed people how much poor wiring can affect an otherwise excellent combo. People always would spend $$$ on engines, chassis, but leave little to nothing for wiring, or have some rats nest on the passenger floorboard. He was a wizard with this stuff. I'd stop by his little 2 car shop down a dirt road, and he'd have the fastest car in the country in there.. Pat Musi, Tim Lynch, Spiro Pappas, one day he had Jeg Coughlin's Cobalt in there, thing had 16 injectors on a Hemi... (which was pretty crazy for back then, roughly 2006)

Dyno numbers are great when your sitting in a bar. But it's first to the finish line. Like to see these on a normally prepped track not the super sticky ones they race on.

Something seems off with that jump from 3700 to 5300. Is that 5300 repeatable? Are we sure the dyno is working properly? Not saying it's not legit, but just questioning repeatability.
The new gen one's are bad ass but the only bad thing is they just made the new ones up to the 98mm I want to see them come out with the new 102 and 106 and the 110 and the biggest of them the 118!
Love the content. Be cool to get an understanding of what they're seeing with each dyno pull and what adjustments are being made along the way. Fuel, timing, boost, etc
So Cleatus "Garrett" has the same set up in a different chassis. So power levels should be the same. It is another car to watch for as the turbos boost is now more like a prochrager with the blow off on the charged side near the intake. It's going to be a crazy season.
I would say Mark Mikey will be paying a visit to FuelTech to make that run at 6,000 horsepower he wanted to make a run at it last time but being a new car and having a race to make he played it safe but if there's a car that can do it Mark's car is it!

Keep the heat out of the heads. They are waiting till the heads get to temp, then do the pull, then shut it down. That's what you'd do at the track as well.
INSANE. Fastest thing I ever had was a Lotus Espirit with a litle over 300 HP. I thought I was faster than superman. I sold it cause I was going to get myself killed being stupid in it. I simply could not fathom being in something with that much HP. That poof when engine settles down was hillarious.
Next level power here. I know Top Fuel makes 12k+, but I'm comparing this build to all the JDM GTR's, Vipers, Lambos, making 3000 HP and breaking shit left and right to get down the 1/2 or 1 mile track. This beast would dominate on every level!

Isn't this the motor Cleetus is putting in his 68 Camaro, Proline Hemi. Dude went from 3600hp to 5300hp in one run. Not 50-100 gain, 1700+ gain.
