I have alot of questions what symptoms you guys had a month after contracting the virus if you guys even knew you had it also I hope you guys are doing well.
@@Mylife-yd9xq if your immune system is powerful, you may not feel any symptoms during a long time, it can take months and years for the virus to spread all your body; so it depends individually. I feel you bro..... I often get upset thinking about all those poor folk who went before so bravely without hope or any chance of survival. So many young lives cut in their prime. It must be what survivor guilt feels like. I also get upset for people like you who are diagnosed so young ( I was 50) because of the stigma. Great to see your forward thinking attitude to life.
Your so handsome raif🥰well in this day and age HIV is not a death sentence anymore not like before ,I want to meet someone who is HIV positive and give them a big hug I know what are guys going through like people who fought any other illness.
No worries because I remember I watched this tv show in the Philippines where they feature HIV positive people and one of the host asked the HIV positive person I can see fear and awkwardness in him like ,are people gonna hate me or something.off course no one wants to get it but we all make mistakes were not perfect.ah and 1 thing Also I promised to my self if I hit the jackpot prize in the lottery I will buy ARV for people with HIV and give to it for free🥰🥰🥰
And also I caught gonorrhea And I let the year past now I'm suffering and don't know what to do,I had it for 15 years I went to different doctors I think it's to late to be cure that's why I got lower right abdomen pain always.

I was just diagnosed with hiv after a random drunk threesome I had. The nurses at the clinic weren’t any help at all, they just gave me some pamphlets and told me I could go, it seemed like they were looking down at me too kinda. The straight community isn’t as open and supportive with this as you guys are, yall are lucky to have a caring community cause I feel so alone rn
Eric Bushman Thanks Eric!! Really appreciate that...I’m gonna keep sharing, there’s a lot more I wanna do so I’ll be creating more shortly ☺️ Take care!
+Aikuchi thank u so much brotha for the support! Was a little nervous putting it out there. Plz share if u think u kno people who might find it useful or encouraging 🙏🏽
Proud of u just Keep livin your life dont be a victime it not ur faute and know that u are not alone with this situation. Now you have chance to live like everyone just take care dont forget yr medecines Keep clean and trust god.
i was also diagnose with hiv last 2016 3 days before my birthday, i never had symptoms like flu its just that i was concern about my weight loss and since i know i had multiple sexual partner before that with unprotected sex i feel its time to get a check up, and then i went to a clinic and and just in 10 mins. the doctor told me that i have an hiv and so she endorse me to get a councelling so i could have a free medication from the clinic. and so years go by now 2018, i feel more healthier. i take one pill everyday with my vitamins plus i do exercise. :) thanks for sharing your video @raif derrazi somehow somewhere it lifts me up and feel even more healthier.
I don't have Aids and am 10 years older than you and I'm a vegetarian, you still got me beat handsome!!! like I said, I don't have Aids/HIV but this video helps others to find strength to push through hard things in our lives. Thank you for this vid.
Thank you my friend happy birthday thank you for sharidayng your story You're a champion. I have a big admiration for you keep fighting not to mention that you are very handsome.
Bro... i'm kinda depress but your video is helping a bit. Was recently diagnosed too just 3weeks before my birthday. I have not told anyone, not a single family or friend.
Raif Derrazi been seeing a clinical social worker, therapy is ongoing... still didn't disclose it to family or friends. But went to gym too just like what you are doing. Copping well... I guess and I hope.
Thumbs up for this brave guy. 👍👍👍👍 many people have those disease but you are brave enough to speak for them. So you are stronger than many people who judged you for who you are and what you have. Don't mind them and stick to the people who truly cares and loves you.
Hey Raif, really like your video and honestly about your journey with this disease. We need more people like you if we are ever to chip away at the stigma. If people were as educated as you are about living with the virus then new diagnosis' would reduce quite dramatically. Keep strong handsome.
Came across your videos recently.very happy to share them with my people at the NGO.very inspiring, I believe that being hiv positive is scary but not the end of life it’s a new beginning being more healthier and determined to fight back thank you keep posting more videos❤️❣️
It’s an NGO dealing with woman infected by the virus and we try to help them out through counseling.hope you come to Mauritius 🇲🇺 and you can come and visit us
That is so devastating to drop that on you like that. Very unprofessional. I'm sorry you should have been told by the Dr. Happy birthday in 2022 handsome 🥰
I thought an AIDS diagnosis was a t-cell count below 250 accompanied by two infections? Also, I've read that once you're diagnosed with AIDS, you will always be considered as having AIDS even after your t-cell goes back up and you're undetectable. Then I heard that only certain states apply that rule.
My doc told me that it was just a matter of T-Cell count going below 250...yes, I've heard that once you are AIDS diagnosed...you will always be considered 'AIDS diagnosed'...but that doesn't mean that you have AIDS currently lol....I certainly don't have AIDS even tho i am still considered 'AIDS diagnosed' ...super confusing...and trivial if u ask me.
Raif Derrazi you don't even look like you have AIDS, I'm not sure if you believe in God, but live with your faith. I know the comparison I'm about to say it's not comparable, but I've got my mom with stage 4 cancer, and the first thing you think is death. But I won't lie it's a hard thing to face, but I told my mom to fight for her life, and life has changed for her 😶 but I guess what I'm trying to say, you fight that diagnosis and you could give hope to so many people with AIDS, and encouragement on staying healthy and doing things to make you happy, you look great. I'm not sure what will happen with my mom but I'm hoping for the best 🙏 God loves you, AIDS doesn't define you please don't cry, be strong and my mom is taking immunocal for immune system to make it stronger, please look into it I promise you it will help you, don't forget about researching immunocal ok. Blessings 🙌 you've got this, eat healthy as well 👍
Dora Benavidez Thank you so much, Dora! And thank you for sharing your struggles to with your mom. I’ll pray for her. You guys are both so strong and she’s so lucky to have you there supporting her. God Bless! 🙏🏽
It’s really scared because you wouldn’t know that someone can have it in some cases you can tell but in most you can’t which is scary to me that’s why I’m going to be extra careful.
I am 41 and HIV negative. Part of that is just luck because we have all done crazy things. If I met someone I really liked and they happened to be HIV + I would still date them. I'd go on PreP and/or practice safe sex. No judgement here. You are very very attractive and I wish you all the best.
@@RaifDerrazi There are so many narrow minded people out there. It's sad. If you're ever in the Baltimore/Washington DC area let me know! Dinner or drinks on me! :)
Raif you are awesome man, you bring hope to people that are diagnosed with hiv. Your videos have helped me stay strong and keep my head up. I tested positive 2 days ago from a test done at munson laboratories, but negative on 2 rapid tests I'm not sure what's going on with me but I will be seeing an infectious disease specialist next week. When I found out I panicked just like most people would who are uneducated about hiv. I'm heterosexual so the stigma behind only homosexual men getting is entirely false. After doing some extensive research following the discovery of my diagnosis, I started to feel like a person again. Like you said in one of your videos the medication is highly advanced today. Scientists and researchers are constantly learning more about this virus and hope to one day stop this epidemic. Where I stand today is not so much of a concern about health because I'm a very healthy person and hopefully have caught this in time before AIDS. My main concern is about my future relationships with women. The horrible stigma associated with HIV would almost certainly stop a person dead in there tracks. I fear I will never know what love is now. I'm gonna take things day by day and focus on my career. Im still very scared to tell anybody because of how they will view me from there on. Thank you for your videos, you are extremely motivational.
Justin, my man, thank you so much for sharing something so personal and profoundly impactful in your life. Thank you for speaking up and confirming that HIV is in fact NOT a gay disease. It effects anyone and everyone. It does not discriminate the way humans do. Secondly, I commend you for doing what you need to do, handling it, and being so committed to yourself and improving your outlook on yourself and your life. You have every right to do so. There is so much hope for you and life is still very much what you make of it. As far as the stigma and dealing with a potential partner...any woman worth your time, and after being educated on the current state of the virus (especially the lack of transmission for those who are 'undetectable') should be able to look past it and continue a relationship with you...if she can't...well, she just did you a favor and saved you time and investment from someone who isn't worth what you have to offer anyway. It can be tricky learning how and when to broach the subject but I have faith and confidence that you will figure that out as well. You're a strong and courageous individual and I know you're going to be just fine. Much respect brother 🙏
Anthony and dated just barely two weeks, broke up, and went our separate ways. A little over 12 months later, I saw him in a chat room, and decided to to say, hello. The first thing he told me, was that, "I have AIDS, and, your lose ass probably gave it to me" Needless to say, I was absolutely shocked, no, not by his insolence, but, the news shocking news, he dropped on me. Luckily, I had just gotten a battery of tests, including blood work, aids test, for a life insurance policy, a few weeks earlier. I jumped in my car, drove over to Oakland to his apartment, my test result in hand. (non reacting) I brought some green tea, sugar substitute and a few other goodies for him. This was more than 7 years ago. We haven't talked or seen each other since then.Sometimes I wonder how he's doing.
Just a medical note: once you have experienced an AIDS-related opportunistic infection & have been diagnosed with AIDS, you are still diagnosed with AIDS even if you've since recovered. Stay well.
You are so adorable and sweet yet strong 💪 I hope you get everything you want in this life and I’m so glad you’re not letting this disease define you because just like you said it’s no longer a death sentence. You have hiv but hiv does not have you!!! Stay beautiful love!!!

@angel Lopez Glad you appreciate it! But if you're at all concerned...just do the dang test. It's so much better to know than to not know and deal with all that anxiety and worry...and not to mention the virus getting more out of control if you DO have it. Do that for yourself.
Raif Derrazi thank u so much for the advice... I think your right...i have to overcome my fears...your such an inspiration,..i adore u as a person...u inspired me everytime I watch u..i will include u to my prayers, and May god always blessed us specialy u....thank u so much again dear.... 🙏😘
I just got tested for HIV and it came back negative (Thank You Jesus). I have gotten too far in my personal life to where I am getting to a point where I am close to being able to play guitar at bars for money. It was a long time in coming. I meet this girl and she was the worst decision I have ever made in my life (alcohol, drugs, ex boyfriends, etc) it goes to show that you cannot extend your hand and feel sorry for people when they in turn do not appericate it in return. She is out of my life and I have been full blown abstence since and am going back to my relgious roots where God and Jesus matters. You can take charge of your life and be "all that you can be" without anyone trying to control you or mess up your path. Yes it is hard work and there have been plenty of times where I wanted to give up but I am still am trucking. Prize yourself otherwise Life will make you a prize for others (PS I am taking another HIV test this week just to be sure because Quest Labs are known not to have the best customer service in the world JIC)
@@RaifDerrazi Continue to take care of yourself good sirs. Remember you have only one life. Make it count no matter how hard it can get. I have been searching on the internet and their are scientists now close to finding vacinnes for HIV. They are in the phases of having to use it on human clinical trials. I wouldn't be surpised if they come out with a Vaccine for wild type of HIV withim the next decade or two.
I have to confess that I did it someone who was undetectable but we only dated for 2 weeks. That was 5 years ago now. I know more and it's not something that we don't need to be scare. ❤❤❤❤

I'm so happy for you!!!! Happy birthday!!
You are an absolute inspiration
btw, that nurse was sooo Out of Order blowing your status in the waiting room BEFORE you saw the doc.... hope you made a complaint x
It wasn't in the waiting room, it was in the private office with the door open. But regardless, yes, way out of line
Hey man u keep on doing good things God will take care of the rest and if you already expired just know your videos are yet helping us keep the faith regardless of the what ifs
I dont have hiv/aids..but i take my hat off to u! Very brave man! U are in my thoughts and prayers!!
Thanks Meagan, appreciate the love! God bless

Aw thanks Shameeah, so appreciate the love ❤️❤️❤️
@@RaifDerrazi you’re welcome ☺️ ❤️
This is inspiring. Great to hear your story.
Thank you Brayan!
If i was there would have given you a big hug, keep up the good work
Thank u, i would've appreciated it greatly
Raif: you are fabulous. Such a beautiful person with a heart of gold. Blessings and much love being sent to you. You are an inspiration. 🙏🦋🙏

i was also diagnose with hiv last 2016 3 days before my birthday, i never had symptoms like flu its just that i was concern about my weight loss and since i know i had multiple sexual partner before that with unprotected sex i feel its time to get a check up, and then i went to a clinic and and just in 10 mins. the doctor told me that i have an hiv and so she endorse me to get a councelling so i could have a free medication from the clinic. and so years go by now 2018, i feel more healthier. i take one pill everyday with my vitamins plus i do exercise. :) thanks for sharing your video @raif derrazi somehow somewhere it lifts me up and feel even more healthier.
Mark Wang That’s awesome, glad to hear it
Which country are you getting medication? In China it's unaffordable to have triumqe for 500dollors a month

Bro... i'm kinda depress but your video is helping a bit.
Was recently diagnosed too just 3weeks before my birthday. I have not told anyone, not a single family or friend.
Have you been able to talk to anyone yet? How are you feeling now? I'm happy to hear that you at least found some comfort in my video
Raif Derrazi been seeing a clinical social worker, therapy is ongoing... still didn't disclose it to family or friends. But went to gym too just like what you are doing. Copping well... I guess and I hope.

Raoul Rosales you should! You have a lot to be hopeful for!
Thumbs up for this brave guy. 👍👍👍👍 many people have those disease but you are brave enough to speak for them. So you are stronger than many people who judged you for who you are and what you have. Don't mind them and stick to the people who truly cares and loves you.
Glad to hear your story, im PLHIV to from PHILIPPINES and im a fan
Hey Raif, really like your video and honestly about your journey with this disease. We need more people like you if we are ever to chip away at the stigma. If people were as educated as you are about living with the virus then new diagnosis' would reduce quite dramatically. Keep strong handsome.
Andrew Wiltshire Amen to that! And thank you
thank you for sharing this....its so painful. i don't have aids but i got hsv it hurts as much.
What is hsv?
Came across your videos recently.very happy to share them with my people at the NGO.very inspiring, I believe that being hiv positive is scary but not the end of life it’s a new beginning being more healthier and determined to fight back thank you keep posting more videos❤️❣️
Love that! And thank u for sharing. What NGO are you workin with?
It’s an NGO dealing with woman infected by the virus and we try to help them out through counseling.hope you come to Mauritius 🇲🇺 and you can come and visit us
@@RaifDerrazi I am wondering how you pay for those meds and why they are so expensive.
@@RaifDerrazimy God bless you
That is so devastating to drop that on you like that.
God Bless! 🙏🏽
Don't worry HIV+ person live normal life 75-80 years
@Karen Love if you take your pills at the time you wont experience this
Hi Raif ,thank u for sharing.you are amazing.
Gia Desplas Thank u Gia! Very kind of u
It’s really scared because you wouldn’t know that someone can have it in some cases you can tell but in most you can’t which is scary to me that’s why I’m going to be extra careful.
Thank you so much for sharing your story! You are a inspiration
Happy belated bday buddy...
Thank u brotha!
It’s just something in your blood.
You inspired me a lot.
You are amazing!!!!!!!
Hugggggggggg ❤️
Thanks for your support buddy!! Hugs back!
Hey dear how are you now
I am 41 and HIV negative. Part of that is just luck because we have all done crazy things. If I met someone I really liked and they happened to be HIV + I would still date them. I'd go on PreP and/or practice safe sex. No judgement here. You are very very attractive and I wish you all the best.
@kevin Poo Thanks for sharing and for the encouragement, kevin...that's the kind of educated, rational thinking that we need!
The first thing he told me, was that, "I have AIDS, and, your lose ass probably gave it to me"
Needless to say, I was absolutely shocked, no, not by his insolence, but, the news shocking news, he dropped on me.
Luckily, I had just gotten a battery of tests, including blood work, aids test, for a life insurance policy, a few weeks earlier. I jumped in my car, drove over to Oakland to his apartment, my test result in hand. (non reacting)
I brought some green tea, sugar substitute and a few other goodies for him.
Stay well.
Trevor T really interesting point man! Def didn’t know that. And seems a little odd to me but thx for the heads up!
Trevor T Why? AIDS diagnosted can rearch undetectable levels of HIV
This shit pisses me off so bad. You are loved. Period
Thank u so much for that. Very much appreciated 😌🙏
You are so adorable and sweet yet strong 💪 I hope you get everything you want in this life and I’m so glad you’re not letting this disease define you because just like you said it’s no longer a death sentence. You have hiv but hiv does not have you!!! Stay beautiful love!!!
Happy belated birthday and you look great
That’s awesome, I’m a human trafficking survivor. I’ve dealt with so much stigma, I appreciate the idea of ignoring stigma:)
Dude I'm going through all those things now I got diagnosed and lost my job for seemingly no reason just started triumeq and praying I don't have lots of side effects and got dumped by my bf who was actually the one who lied and gave me the virus SMH but im so proud of you dude stay strong
Oh and contests and happy b day
todd hazel Hey Todd, so sorry to hear you had to go through such a similar situation. But also so glad u found my video and that u can relate to me so well...just proves we’re not alone and there are so many others going through the same or similar situations. Keep your head up mate, it’ll get better. God bless 🙏🏽
my first time to watch u..and I must say I get hooked immediately...your adorable guy,smart,honest,brave...honestly I have rush symptoms now but I'm afraid of having it I'm afraid to go to the doctor...your such an inspiring guy...i like u now and I subscribe now I'm looking forward to watch more of your videos..stay positive I'm sure god always guide u...
Hey thanks for sharing your story
@@RaifDerrazi Continue to take care of yourself good sirs. Remember you have only one life. Make it count no matter how hard it can get. I have been searching on the internet and their are scientists now close to finding vacinnes for HIV. They are in the phases of having to use it on human clinical trials. I wouldn't be surpised if they come out with a Vaccine for wild type of HIV withim the next decade or two.
Take care and God bless you and keep you safe in his Arms.
