Just ordered the 6 Pro... At first the 512 GB variant was showing Out of Stock, but then somehow more availability was released and I could grab one this afternoon. You were right about the pricing on the high spec models, but wow to the affordable options, as well! 👍

@@ShannonMorse My 512GB P6P is slated to be delivered in exactly 2 weeks from now. Was really hoping GrapheneOS would be ready to hit the ground running by then, but I guess supporting the new Titan M2 security chip is going to take some long dev time.
Google is showing "Delivered by Nov 6-9" for my order.
I wasn't able to get the 521GB. However, I did get the 128GB no worries, still excited to get the Pixel Pro.
Dude! Google voice recognition is miles ahead of Apple. Dictation and live translate are some of the features I'm really excited about!

I'm still concerned about the repairability issue. I really hope the camera isn't bonded to the motherboard with software, like that one report alleged.

I followed you on Instagram awhile ago due to thinking you have the coolest hair in the world, but now I was on RUclips trying to decide whether to get the standard or Pro Pixel (as I'm on Google Fi and my phone is falling apart). Funny to actually arrive at your real work by such a circuitous route. Not a big surprise, but what's going on under your hair in the ol' brianbox is at least as wonderous as the colors on it.
That “hit the like button” example was very specific - is it time to upgrade the coffee maker? lol
If I hadn’t already invested in a Z Fold 3 I’d be all over this!

8:28 YES!!! I can't stand using my iPhone 12 Pro Max because of these voice typing issues and the fact the keyboard hides punctuation marks, adding constant more steps to add those in.
This is why I favor my android phone. It still stucks an iPhone is a requirement to fully use an Apple Watch. (although, I still haven't bought one yet, but I want one)
I'm here a year later and enjoying my Pixel 6. I googled and the Samsung is supposed to be more secure, and some professionals think iOS is more secure than Android but the military and government don't really use iPhone but they use Samsung and other phones. My Pixel is plenty secure though and I'm enjoying it quite a bit with the latest updates. I look forward to Android 14! Call screening is the best and my info is on the dark web after working for the Air Force as a civilian, and so it's nice to screen these jerks out.
Do you think that the tensor chip is good with Grapheneos? Or are the older chips better🤔

Google is not planning to release it in India. Will this be a smart idea if I buy the us version and take it back to India ? Will it work ? Don't know which network bands are supported in this phone .
I was sadly only able to get 256 gb model in stormy black, seems that's the only option available in UK. 512 doesn't seem to exist here
I was only able to get the 128g version, the other were sold out

bloatware and are they locking down the nic like ios... as an ne, i use android on cell phone to see rogue ap's... can no longer get details with iOS phones...only android now...ios used to do mon mode pcaps but no longer. thank you.
This is funny and not funny. I tried to order at launch and the site was, as reported, having major problems. By the time I could get back on, all options were sold out. So I put myself on the waiting list. Got an email earlier today that the 256gb 6 Pro was back in stock. Even though I really wanted the 512gb, I preordered the 256. About 30 minutes later I got another email telling me the 512gb was back in stock. So I figured fine, I'd buy that one too, then resell the 256gb. In the middle of preordering the 512kb, I got a VERY important phone call that I had to answer and could not put off. I was on the phone three minutes. By the time I got back to preordering, the 512gb was out of stock again 😥😣
One thing I'm very disappointed on about the Pixel 6 and the pro is the display it don't get that bright outside 500 nits it's not that good every time I buy a pixel I have a hard time seeing it outside in the sun Samsung is 900 nits with the peak 1500 nits big difference
Wished Apple would support baked in iMessage and FaceTime just like they're on iPhones for Android ones. I know it'll never happen, but that's why I'll never buy a Android phone again as much as I want to. Apple has me locked in, ugh. Great video as always! What'd you have for lunch? haha
I cringe any time I hear “open source “ with security related products. Yes, it allows for others to evaluate for possible security issues, but also allows bad actors potential access. I have always liked Google, and still incorporate their products into my life, but I trust my password data more with Apple than I do Google.
But it's Google, the whole bullsh1t about the argument about OSS not being secure because somebody could BLAH BLAH BLAH can be realistically effective on unpopular large projects. Most of the time with security related products being Open Source are way better than black boxes. Also a milestone ahead when it comes to privacy.
