Is the Pixel 8 Pro still worth buying? 👀Let us know you're thoughts!
Yes!!! Such an amazing phone that gets out of your way!
Very wrong about the camera controls though. They are still there on all the pixles without pro mode, you have a extra settings button on bottom right.
I thought you had the phone for the last 6 months?
No it's 6 months into its 7 years of support already.
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building!!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Verizon just gave me one for the sales tax cost, like $35. No added monthly fee Makes it a no brainer!
Short answer: it is. Not worth buying every year just to get that one or two upgrade you're looking for. Doesn't change user experience.
We very much agree with this "no need to buy every year" stance. Not only is it a waste of money a lot of the time, but it's also not good for the environment.
I don't see why the average consumer needs to buy a phone every year. The clout days of having a new phone are over, at least in the community where I live
Only people who should upgrade every year are tech reviewers, content creators/influencer, software/hardware engineers needing them for their job, or those getting it for free in their phone plan (can downgrade and pay less??)
I'm still hanging into my pixel 6 pro still security updates end.
Listen I still have my pixel 6 and absolutely love it.
That's pretty much the case with every flagship, minor changes, year to year. Better yet for the environment, buy refurbished!
@e3vL1 I don't think it's really clout anymore. People have spending problems and think it will fill a emptiness inside them or make their life better somehow.
eh. I think we're at peak smartphone. I've replaced my pixel 4XL battery *twice* and it's fine! New features these days are so minor and incremental a phone from 2,3 even 4 years ago is still perfectly capable.
Stay tuned, friend, we have a video on the way in a few days that you are going to LOVE. If you're not subscribed, be sure to do so!
@@AndroidAuthority will do! I'm definitely an outlier ha I also still use a Chromebook Pixel from 2012 with Linux Mint on it, and a 2017 Pixelbook - which *still* makes people's heads turn with it's design.
how much did a battery replacement cost?
@@gutwallst6645 Iirc the battery was maybe like $30 from Amazon? Labor and tools were my own.
Pixel 4XL is still my all time fave but, no updates makes payments and things banking a little insecure.
Just upgraded to Pixel 8 Pro from an iPhone 12 Pro. Dual SIM user here. Couldn't be happier. Can't wait to take astrophotos of the supernova this year.
P8 pro have dual sim ?
I've had this phone since Dec 23. I switched from iPhone and haven't really looked back. I love the camera functions and the video capabilities are amazing. I am a musician and videos are important. The Video boost function has been integral for that.
I've never used the temperature function, so not too bothered about that. What I love the most about this phone, is the ability to customise SO many more features within the phone.
I would say, YES, this phone is certainly worth buying now.
How is your experience with audio recording (musical instruments).
@@AndreSantos-xt3wx I had the same question, plus how does the Pixel 8 Pro handle loud music, like live music in a club?
Am I the only one who likes the curved displays exactly for the reason that it makes swipe gestures more satisfying and easier?
That swipe from the side is so much nicer with a curved display, especially when you have a screen protector on. I really miss the 7 pro for that reason
Which is why I was ok with how the S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro curves was handled. The Chinese phones still has a long way to go.
@@joelconolly5574 it was the only reason why I went for the S23U over the s24U
@@joelconolly5574OnePlus 12 is a fantastic device. And I also have the P8P and s24+.
get rid of curved edges imho, if you like them keep what you have
I went from a 3XL to a current 7a, and just ordered the 8 Pro 256Gb that had discount. From here gonna wait until 2nd gen TSMC
Damn. I just ordered the 8 Pro 128gb because the 256g was out of stock. Also got it at a discount, and I really needed a phone so I couldn't wait. I'm just gonna have to get a micro SD card OTG adapter and hope it's not a total hassle. Jealous of that 256g you got tho 😂
Just got my 8 Pro a few days ago and the pictures are stunning
That's awesome. I am planning on getting a pixel 8 pro soon and I love cameras, one of the reason im moving from my iphone
I hadn't even thought about those controls on my P 7 Pro disappearing until you mentioned it. But I did find them on a small control center down to the right, so they are still there but a bit less intuitive to use now.
Question: I had a Samsung with the back/apps/home button on the bottom of the screen, so that's what I'm used to. Is it a hassle getting used to the Pixel's left side swipe/back, home, and recent apps configuration?
Buttons available on Pixel just change in settings then select system then navigation mode !
@@marktevendale103 I thought it wasn't an option! Thanks for your help, I really appearance this!
Do those Ai picture editor features only come with a subcription to Google one?
Had the 7 pro and although I loved that thing the tensor was just a headache, a lot of optimization issues, heating issues, battery life issues and signal issues, ended up selling it and going with the s24 ultra, I'm not getting another pixel until google figures out how to make a proper SoC
My 3 year old Pixel 5 (Qualcomm chipset) still had better battery life than the Pixel 8 Pro.
Tensor is bad, do anything remotely intensive, like updating a bunch of apps or downloading a few large files and it heats up and chews battery.
I think it's convenient that Google launches their phones at the end of the year, going into the North American winter, so these issues are less noticeable.
Having just gone through an Australian summer with the Pixel 8 Pro, it seriously heats up. Using Google maps with Android auto, phone screen off and out of the sun and the phone is ridiculously hot!
@Mark..01 Yup, the moment you do something slightly heavy like a gaming session or record a video in 4K for 10 minutes, they heat up like crazy, especially in hot weather as you mentioned. What's crazier is that the Samsung counterparts using the chipset the tensors are based on don't have half these issues.
@@anakinskyguy6582 weird indeed. I hope once Google starts making their own chips, their devices will improve. I want the Pixel to be that unbeatable phone that all others aspire to, but for now it still has a long way to go.
Google isn't going to TSMC (who develops Snapdragon) until 2025/Pixel 10 series. Once Google gets TSMC to design their Tensor chip, that's when I'll go back. I'm using the Samsung 24+ and it's actually going well.
Good luck with your S24 Ultra. I hated mine and it had so many problems. Returned it and went back to the Pixel
One aspect you didn't touch is battery life. I bought a pixel 8 pro in December 2023. I am very happy about the battery, but I have to confess, I use the pixel 8 pro all the time in battery saver mode. If I feel I need more power, I disable the battery saver mode, but I rarely see the need to turn off the battery saver mode.
I'm using accubattery pro and I have to say that my battery heath increased from 100% to now 104%. I can easily go through the day on a single charge. I have so far NEVER had to charge more in a single day. Compared to my old mi 9T pro, it is just twice as good.
I was very worried about the battery life, but it seems that the battery life is not an issue.
This is my honest review about the battery life. I have no affiliation with google. I actually wanted to buy another phone, but I ended buying the pixel 8 pro as I was in an emergency situation when my 9T pro screen just died.
My experience was the opposite. My 3 year old Pixel 5 had better battery life than the new 8 Pro.
Standby battery drain is terrible on it, loses 2% per hour overnight on WiFi and more when on mobile data.
Camera usage drains it very fast also, but I guess that's with most phones. 3 hours of shooting photos and battery was dead!
Overall I found I got me through a day, but only just. Screen on time rarely made it to 5 hours.
The only bright spot, it seems to be very good with RUclips, an hour or more of RUclips videos and it doesn't lose much battery.
I just ordered the 8 pro it was on sale for $599 good deal? And im upgrading from the iphone XS max
Yes it's a very good phone , I had iPhones, Samsung's, , the photos are top notch. The best part I like is the call screening, it answers the phone and sends a message to screen your calls .
Actually, I find it much easier to make the back gesture on a slightly-curved display than a totally flat one, especially Pixel's, since the metal edge of the frame is at the same level with the glass. Also, curved looks more futuristic. Don't forget that flat displays are way older than the curved ones. Also...iphone as an example ? Really ?
Agreed, bring back the curve. Loved it on my 6 pro. Upgraded to 8 pro last week.
100%. The curve was great for gestures. Felt like the gestures were made for curved screens.
Flat screens are fine, but gestures are not the reason I would say as to why flat is better.
Try the OnePlus 12. Gestures are phenomenal as are the resultant animations.
Was waiting for information on how the battery faired for you but you didn't seem to touch on it.
Love my 8 Pro. I will probably keep it for two years and then upgrade.
How many years of updates was Google offering before this recent increase to seven? And did the features used to update along with the Android versions and security updates?
3
While I still find it hard to recommend a Pixel, even the best Pixel yet which I fully believe the 8 Pro is, it is closest I have gotten to safely recommending one with less caveats than ever before.
For day to day use, personally it is the closest iPhone like "it just works" experience you're going to get on Android. I know a S24 series Galaxy owner can argue this also and they would be valid to do so but I prefer the unique Pixel experience above any other Android brand which has practical features I use daily and I feel like don't get enough credit/recognition when considering a Pixel over any other Android phone.
Things like the AoD which for me is easily the best on the market. All pertinent info I value most is available to me at all times with a single glance. If I have a active timer going, that timer is always there at a single glance. These might seem like small or more obscure/less common examples but it's these small details you grow to use and rely on when you use a phone as your daily driver for months and learn about all the little nuances that can easily be overlooked in initial reviews.
0:55 I've personally found it's actually easier and more comfortable to swipe from the edge on my curved display than any other phone I've used. I hope at least some phones continue having curved displays.
Yes
Like the OP12 😊
I love it man! My favorite pixel to date💯💯👌🏾
I've tried a number of devices since purchasing my Pixel 8 Pro and they've all been sent back (Samsung S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Honor Magic 6 Pro and OnePlus 12). There's just something about the Pixel experience that feels so intuitive and enjoyable to use everyday. The hardware this time around is a big step up too (even if it doesn't quite match the competition, especially Tensor G3). The Pixel 8 Pro is still an excellent consideration for the right person.
I agree and I got the P8P sent to back for the s24Ultra, the s24ultra went back and have the P8P again. The s24ultra was a bit too big in the hand for me ,and the corners of the phone were uncomfortable. Also the redundancy with both Google and Samsung is overkill. Too much to figure how to use, and frankly most people don't know how and will not use more than 80% of what the phone is able to do...in any phone?
Swapped my 8 pro after 4 months to a galaxy s24 ultra. Miss the camera and the face log in for banking apps. Camera was like 2 generations ahead of what I have in the Samsung which sucks. However I don't regret the swap. S24 ultra is the better phone especially in performance. The pixel isn't slow but the snapdragon runs rings around it. Especially notice it when you're juggling a few apps at a time where the tensor just seems to take a beat to think about what it's doing.
Finally, somebody have my main concern, the photo sliders. That was my fav feature in pixel.
I got an 8 pro at launch and I agree it isn't a gaming device but brilliant at photography
The circle to search which Samsung now has, and magic editor are coming to other Android phones so it's no longer a reason to have a pixel... Unfortunately and as for the camera it's 2024 it's no longer the best camera for a smartphone the vivo x100 and a few other phones already have a better camera. I don't think it's worth getting this phone for the price I paid $1200 for the 256gb version.
Do you have any thoughts about the battery life with the Tensor compared to a Snapdragon
It's difficult to make an apples-to-apples comparison because there's no version of the Pixel 8 Pro with a Snapdragon processor. However, multiple people on the Android Authority staff use the Pixel 8 Pro as their daily driver, and all of us think the battery life is either good or great. In other words, battery life shouldn't be a concern with the Pixel 8 Pro!
If you're talking about performance though, well...let's just say Snapdragon is going to win every fight against Tensor G3! 🫠
When is the next sale on the 8 phones?
Got the P8P at launch and ditched it as soon as the S24 series came out. Tensor just doesn't get it done, the fingerprint sensor is so bad they didn't even cover it during this video, and the face unlock only worked in ideal lighting conditions. Then you add the constant delayed updates that always break something. As much as I'm a Pixel fan, Google just can't get it together. Pixels have had issues since the P1, and nothing has changed 8 years later.
I couldn't agree more. The last update wrecked the reliability of my mobile data connection. When I reached out to Google, they said they are "aware" and that the next update would fix it. Grrrr.
Pixel are camera computers attached to a great phone. I had the pixel 8 and it was amazing.
5:02 when you buy a pixel you buy it for the features and long term support not only for the speed.for me on a day to day basis it doesnt feel any slower than any other phone i use plus for what you pay for it, its worth it
I think it's funny that having a flat display is a "feature" now. iPhones have always had flat display. Android started off flat and then curved displays were introduced as being the hot new trendy thing, and here we are today.
By definition, flat and curved displays are both features. Also, not all Android phones had curved displays.
What do people mean by "flat display"? Do they mean the edges are flat?
@@squatch545 Yes, the portion of the screen where you swipe left or right.
the camera software was so goofy to modify... was the least change i was hoping for... like pro options but the IU feels like outdated or outplaced
You guys need to address the scrolling issue, cmon. It's plagued the 8 series since launch and Google won't do a thing unless larger channels like you guys voice it out. It's easy to appreciate everything good with the phone, I love my P8P but the scrolling stutters really destroy the user experience which is literally an integral part of using the device
Also the navigation pill bar showing up on the right side of the phone seems to be an issue with many on reddit since amrch update
Yep, this is the reason why I cant fully commit to it. Have a 15Pro Max as my daily and really want to switch back to android and was a previous pixel user and almost feels like my old 2XL with the stuttering. Picked up the s24U this last weekend and amazed at the smoothness of it, but indoor photos of kids/pets just arent great
It will be fixed in Android 15 btw (you can install the Beta version if you're not willing to wait).
@@wrakor Not that eager, I'm okay waiting for a stable build. Have you tried it? Is the issue fixed?
@@gauthamarun6722 I've not tried it personally as I've ended up returning mine because of this issue. Just google "google issue tracker 305195207"
Spot on!
This is my upgrade after 5 years 😌
Going from the iPhone XS.
Also they had a promo of an extra £100 for trade in so I’m expecting to get £210 for my XS!
thoughts? is it good?
@@mattxd646 oh boy I'm loving it
I love my pixel 8 pro. I haven't had any issues at all. Working like a dream Come true.
l just take whatever I can get for free... every year these companies ask $1000 and then reviews hype it up for 3 months and then start acting like.its old and u should wait for the next one and it goes on and on. I'm not falling for this anymore personally I'm just gonna shop on my budget
I grow flowers and what I hate the most the about phone cameras is there is not enough ability to adjust the color settings to actual colors outside. A black flower looks purple not black. Most cell phone cameras have too much red in the settings and you can't get it out.
I have had the pixel 8 pro since launch, i got the deal that included the pixel watch 2 and i gotat say that its been great, honestly the best ohone i have ever had. But its not perfect i get slowodowns feom time to time and i fets a little bit hot but i plan on keeping this phone for years to come, util they out their own proccesor i see no reason to get the pixel 9 pro especially cauae its gonna have a smaller screen
I definitely recommend getting one , just dont pay reatail price, csuse it always has good sales
I have an 8 pro , I can't say I've been overly happy with the face ID or the finger print sensor, face id is not bad in good light , in poor lighting conditions it's not great and I'm darkness it just doesn't work full stop where as an iPhones face ID works very well in day time and in pitch dark.
The finger print sensor on my unit up until some weeks ago absolutely sucked and only worked when it wanted to , however in recent weeks the hit rate seems to have improved somewhat ( was there an update for the FPS ? )
The camera is decent most of the time, it probably has a very slight edge over my iPhone 14 pro max occasionally, I have my pro max set to take 48 mpg shots every time .
Surprisingly, night shots or poor lighting situations not using night mode , my iPhone utterly kills the pixel .
You watch the iPhone taking a shot in poor light and you can see the sensor in steps adjust the white balance, and it does a good job , the 8 pro not so much.
General navigating around the 8 pro it seems pretty snappy most of the time. There are time when doing heavy lifting you can see it taking it's good time to complete a task.
I just did 5 MB update, and OMG , it took so long 😂.
Overall I still think it's generally a good phone amd Google is finally heading in the right direction with the Pixels.
The iPhone is still my carry around though , the pixel is my second phone.
I went from Samsung to Pixel a couple years ago and never looked back. updates are immediate, no waiting for months anymore while Samsung figures it out.
Verizon just gave me one for the sales tax cost, like $35. No added monthly fee Makes it a no brainer!
Im all about the cameras. Everything else is secondary. Im currently on a S22 ultra, my contract is up in july, and I'm waiting for the pixel 9 pro release to see how it stacks up. Then its either the pixel 9, or the S24 ultra for me.
I bought one off Facebook Marketplace for $250 I am not joking. The guy was also selling the pixel watch 2 but I don’t want the watch. I met him at my campus I I could check it out. I only bought it to use it as a secondary phone to my 15 Pro Max. Great phone and a huge steal!
I’ve recently bought a Pixel 8 Pro coming from 20 years of Apple and I have mixed feelings about it. The phone lacks of functionality outside the USA which makes the experience less appalling. Google customer support is also appalling, and possibly the worst of the worst, leaving customers with ongoing unresolved issues, and useless devices. I like the camera system and the AI features, as well as the battery life, but in terms of usability, compared to my old iPhone 14 Pro, it lags even on basic tasks such as launching an app or editing a picture. I was expecting more from the processor and I wasn’t expecting the main features to be geographically locked to the USA. I mean, it’s annoying paying for a phone that has Gemini and automatically screens calls in the USA, but doesn’t do any such thing if you live somewhere else.
I have Pixel 8 Pro since the launch, and it works great, love the camera, though in heavy tasks (games) it tends to get warm/hot. So overall its a GOOD smartphone, but not excellent, so I will wait till 2025 to see if Google (Pixel 10 ??) will switch to Snapdragon chips, but until then I don't wish to upgrade.
We agree with most of what you say here, but you should abandon hope of a Snapdragon Pixel anytime soon. Google is all-in on making its own chips, so the Qualcomm days are gone and likely never coming back.
@@AndroidAuthority Well it is sad, at least rumors say they are switching to use TSMC chip maker in 2025, so hopefully it will help eliminate heating issues of Samsung Exynos platform (Tensor G3, G4)... so waiting to se what will be Tensor G5 like... will decide then between Pixel and Galaxy phones =)... as for Pixel 8Pro, it will be quite viable to last another 2-3 more years without being too outdated.
@@AndroidAuthoritycompletely agree that Pixel will continue to use "tensor" CPUs for some time to come. Why would they pay high amounts for TSMC when it works just fine for the average user, and clearly they have a great business deals with Samsung who is the raw manufacturer of the chip and the display for the pixel 8 pro?
Well they are not gonna switch to snapdragon chips instead what they are going to do is most probably make their own chips like what Samsung do or what apple do but with TMC which apple and Snapdragon use to make their chips. I expect them to be on par with the previous snapdragon chips maybe the current ones at that time but it's unknown what they will do with their own chipsets.
Its crazy we have to ask a question like this with a phone less than a year old
And the normal 8?
I'm still here with my pixel 6 pro waiting for the security updates to end...
That’s a really nice wallpaper and theme at 1:10 ! If anyone could find it for me it’ll be greatly appreciated! 😅
As long as it uses Tenxynos chips: Nah.
LOL, this is the first time we've heard "Tenxynos." We like that!
Thank you for picking up the Black and not that shitty Blue colour.
This phone is a stunner.
My wife and I actually found the thermometer to be pretty accurate. We took our daughter to the doctor not to long ago and after they took her temperature we took it with the pixel 8 pro. The thermometer was almost spot on with with the temperature that the doctor took.
Long term review they said... I'm using a 4a 5G bought used, changed display myself a year ago, wouldn't change it for the 8 pro 😀
Im using the 13 pro max. Stuck with loads of apple stuff. Contemplating a pixel for a while but means me taking out an additional contract because i cant afford to pay it all in one go and my 13 pro max is still a great phone. Hard choice.
All of these comments about not getting all of the latest features for seven years is ridiculous and how could anyone expect that. Of course new phones will have new features otherwise they would sell a new one every seven years 🙄. That said though, with Android many new features are delivered via application updates so I suspect if on current OS the experience may be better than expected.
Why are you always talking about buying it in 20:24???
Bought for £400 mint, the guy before only used it for a month. At this price it was worth buying for me (ive had it for 4 months now) and it gets the job done.
With that being said, my s23u was miles better. Battery life on pixel is bad, it gets toasty, it gets overwhelmed (im a power user) and overall it's not great. That being said the cameras are fantastic and so is the display. Software support is also good.
Depends how much you buy it for but it might be worth it if you get it for cheap.
I wouldnt pay 1k for it. That would be silly. S24u would be so much better to buy.
I think the Pixel 9 is worth it(maybe), i feel like the 8 series are just the same as the 7 series but with some minor improvements.
It’s laughable when reviewers say things like still worth buying for a phone that came out October 2023, not everyone changes their phone every 6 months, 😂
Thanks for such a comprehensive video
We need a better fingerprint sensor and chip and smoother animations over all 😇
Build quality quite good, but it's full of bugs. P30 pro was more reliable. Fingerprint sensor awful. Ai is brilliant, screen is perfect just not bright enough. Phone settings limited, for example can set bottom 3 buttons placement. Camera is brilliant but enabling options is confusing a bit. Need to disable several options that I can't find to enable one thing. To be honest I expected a bit more at this price range.
I bought it and within 20 minutes of using i put it back in the box and sent it back, heatxynos is real cmon 10 min of usage and that thing id glowing hot.... For a 1k phone
Commenting before the video duration ends 😂
The portrait photos are the best in phones
Yes its of course worth it and somewhat cheaper now than wheh it launched. If you need a new phone now just get it , dont bother waiting for the 9 as that will be more expensive and very likely not much different
upgraded from pixel 6 pro to 8 pro yesterday
Coming from an S7 Edge....well...that answers the question :D
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building!!! 👑🇯🇲🔥💥🌟⭐💯💎
Gonna switch to Pixel, I don’t like Samsung‘s one ui anymore. And couldn’t care less about the tensor g3, as long as it’s as fast as my s20.
Circle search was straight up stolen from Samsung.
I saw it and laughed about Google probably stealing it and 3 weeks later came the update on my 7 Pro.
Me and my lil sister were in best buy causs she needed a new phone n she wanted a new iphone but she didnt have all the money so i said ok she bought my 15 pro and i bought me a new s24 ultra whjich im really happy about it the iphone is boring i been using this s24 ultra and couldnt be more happier
Yeah can still buy but definitely not at the full retail price.
Tensor is the reason I don't have a pixel...
My issue with the Pixel devices, is the cost. They are way over priced for the processor in them. A Pixel 8 Pro at $600 at the absolute most at launch. Now... $350 tops.
Pixel 10 is going to be the one that gets the fancy new custom processor. Prepare for more disappointment with the g4 that the Pixel 9 will have.
The Tensor 3 is what, The first Gen Tensor should have been.
How clickbaity is this headline? This isn't 2034. The phone was released months ago.
Ulfone armour 26 ultra is the way to go.
I still love it and will until Pixel 10
short answer yes. if you’re using a phone from 3 years back it will still hold up pretty well if you’re not gaming.
What about if I have a pixel 6 😭😭 I'm between S24 and P8P... Heeeeelp😂
I wanna a phone for the next 10 years
Just some constructive feedback. Your video sound effects are a tad irritating by the way. Bit off-putting.
It's good phone but I can't even play COD. Lag, slow, low color. In camera mode switching, still feel the slowness.
Matter smart devices save Apple HomeKit on the iPhone 💯
Come on, I’m still watching this with my Pixel 6
4:13 happens to me a couple of years back at a party with low light and my pixel 6 pro photos were way better than an iPhone 11 that a girl brgged about.
Thanks for not warning people from that Class 3 Face Unlock - IT DOES NOT WORK IN POOR LIGHTING CONDITION - BASICALLY USELESS
Only downfall in the chip
Best software, best camera, beautiful screen, best design.
Definitely not. Imagine if Google just went the Oneplus model but with a better camera and subsidized pricing. That shit would blow the market open.
Got a Pixel, wanted to make a switch from an IPhone 13 Pro. At the first glance it was incredibly good, but 1 week was enough to understand that it’s not even better than 2-years old iPhone.
Tensor is really bad. Cellular worse than on the IPhone.
Battery life.. poor. It lasts almost same as 13 pro with 2-years old battery.
Biometrics are not even close to the Face ID. Face unlock on a pixel works only when it is bright outside and from a short distance. Fingerprint is optical, and while it works well, when it is dark outside you will be blinded by a flash of this freaking fingerprint. Why can’t Google put the same sensor as Samsung does? Come on Google, this is not a budget phone (yes I know it is cheaper, but look at Chinese phones).
Camera.. sometimes it is brilliant, but sometimes you just wonder WTF have you just captured. It is unstable and this is a bad thing, especially when you try to take a photo of kids (toddlers). Portrait mode is also not so great.
And the biggest issue for me is PWM. I literally couldn’t use it without strain on my eyes and headaches. I tried so many OLED phones and this is the first case for me.
I am actually very disappointed. I wanted to try Pixel and I thought it is the best Android phone, the only one that can be considered for switching from IOS.
If your buying a pixel your buying it for efficiency not speed. If you want a gaming phone get a phone with a snapdragon 8 gen 3. These phones are not meant for gaming and I'm tired of people complaining about the chip
If a phone isn't worth it after 6 months after spending $1,000 for it, they are doing something drastically wrong
I got the google pixel fold and that phone is terrible ive had it for 6 months until i experienced my sim card wasnt working and it said no internet connection and also the battery is trash so google phones is a no go for me, so i got samsung galaxy z fold 5 and i love it sorry but thats my opinion
I am a 7a user trust me not sure about 8 and other models but 7a is actually a Good phone, i am using this device from the day it was launched, in first 2-3 months there was small issue but now its super fast like as new. I suggest everyone dont buy expensive phone respect your hard earned money all we need to do call WhatsApp RUclips and Instagram thats it even budget phone is doing pretty well now days.
Why we acting like this phone is 5 years old? It came out less than a year ago..
flat screen is a feature now?😂
