That piston is an outdated piston that was replaced by the 33312b. Some of your earlier model block number could be a cast iron cylinder, or aluminum or for external ignition depending on the part number. The crank numbers either a difference in the shaft size for the pto, if it has a fixed points cam lobe with a larger taper for the flywheel, a replaceable cam lobe with a small taper, or if it's for external ignition. I've mixed and matched parts to get an engine back going again. I don't like doing it but internal parts are getting harder to find. I love these old tecumseh engines.

The shroud I see, the one that says V50-60228J, was taken from an engine that came off of a Snapper Comet 2650 series riding mower.
