      The reason they are hard to find is because Zoraki stopped making them and I bought most of the ones posted on ebay for the last couple of years. Glad to see they are back. They also make a bad-ass stock which I incorporate with a red dot, treaded barrel extinction and Donnie FL Tanto. Any other one he makes hits when you cock them and you don't get consistant pumps. Also have spares. My favorite pump carbine.

It would be nice to see you review some more Beeman products. The Beeman P17 or P3 pistols and the New Beeman Chief II whiich is multi-shot, silenced?, available in .22, and hand pump friendly. @@AirgunDetectives yes sir I saw that thanks. I appreciate your bare bones approach to a review. I watch for the upload. Iv been an airgunner for 50 years and I've seen a lot of changes, mostly very high end airguns. I've watched reviewers start with "so called" budget airguns and before you know it they are pushing a certain brand or style of airgun that the average Joe airgunner will never own. I like how you take a budget friendly airgun and show it can be , (with a little work sometime), be just as capable as an airgun ten or more times expensive. Keep doing what you my airgun brother!

      Hi Bror...I like the P17. The cheap version is the best airgun pistol for under $50. In fact I'll do a review on that! The Zoraki however, is much more powerful and a better build quality overall. You have the option to multi-pump it. Normally I just pump it twice for targetpractice. I like the fact they offer it in .22 caliber. Hope all is well with you and your family 👍😉

    Another easy video to watch ( I don't like them too long )....A few years ago I was going to by the Webley Alecto, which was probably more available in Canada....But there was an issue with the valve cracking from the pressures, so I waited and by the time the Zoraki came out, the price was pretty steep and I couldn't justify the purchase....So my wife got her new shoes and I picked up a used 1322 ....I guess I'm happy with that, I guess.....But I'll always wonder, eh ........(1322 now has a 14" barrel and shoulder stock, so I'm happy.....I guess ) .....John (west coast,Can. ) .......................(I was tired of seeing my wife go barefoot anyway,....beach or no beach)

      Even in .177 the shorter barrel hits 5.5ftlbs so any more and it's a charge and a half lol I wish they'd let us have up to 8 ftlb pistols and 16ftlb rifles, just a little more power would be so much better. our laws are shit not to mention there's nowhere to shoot these days unless you own land. None of the club's near me will let you shoot anything other than shotguns at clays or .177 rifles under 12 ftlb, they won't let me shoot any of my .22 rifles and pistols all they care about if hft and I can't find any land to hunt on lately since everyone believes the government anti gun bullshit so don't approve of guns 🙄 still thousands of illegal firearms throughout the country that the criminals use so making it impossible for normal people like us is just helping the illegal gun market if anything I don't understand why everyone gave in and handed in their collections to be destroyed when they first passed the ban, they should have lined the streets saying no lol everyone just does as they are told in the UK whether they agree or not

I read on the Zoraki site that the Ultra (long barrel) takes 4 pumps the short barrel is maxed 3 pumps. You can also change out barrels on the fly two bolts I believe. 177, 20, 22 & and they have LW barrels also. I run an EOTech clone on mine and it's a pigeon murderer! They have a carbine kit also.

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  4 года назад +1

      I have seen the carbine kit. I noticed they claimed the ultra could have four pumps, but truly the only difference in the model is the length of barrel. You are right the barrel can be changed out easily. That means you could have the versatility of shooting both .177 and .22. Let me know if you get a lead on barrels. Thanks for watching and I appreciate you taking the time to share your comments.

    I wish 22 cal was more available in pellet pistols. Outside of pump models and a few single shots its unusual to find a repeater in 22 cal. Most of us are shooting 22 cal in our rifles and it's just easier to buy just 1 diameter pellet,

    Maximum pumping limit is 4 for ultra model. If you pump more then 4, valve will give the air out. Maximum pumping is 3 for light version. You are using the ultra version , so you can pump it up to 4, not 3. ANd with the right pellets, you can get 14 joules with ultra and 9 joules with light model. This is what we have in Turkey, and if your gun is limited according to rules in your countre, it is not a big job to reverse engineer it, try some google...

    Being a lefty yourself, I can't believe that you didn't note the 'right-hand only' as a negative. As for the stats, aside from the power, the P17 beat it for accuracy, trigger pull, ease of loading, ambidextrous, and most dramatically, price (1/10th of) in your own review. I feel somewhat annoyed at their lack of consideration for lefties.
