This song is sooo nostalgic!...I was kicked out of “ home” at 14 yrs old because I wanted to play guitar, and took my dads Cadillac for a joy ride!....all alone, I slept on rooftops (in the rain sometimes),and abandoned cars, with no direction home!...I lived on the streets of Los Angeles California for a couple of years....and, at 16, I finally got a menial job!...and I decided that I was going to be the best worker in the business. I am now comfortably retired!...BTW this song, (Bob Dylans version at that time) was one of the first two songs I learned to play on the streets!..(the house of the rising sun was #2!)...I love the Rolling Stones, so needless to say, and so appropriate, for Mick Jagger to put the Rolling Stone stamp of approval on this classic, and historical tune! ...PERFECT!...👍❤️
Hard to say in words how much they nailed this show - all just sounded tight and right. Buzzing all over
I felt the same way. A perfect execution!!!
I've long believed their worst is better than most. And while there might be some parts not as good in parts of different songs, they still deliver some great shows. Anyone can knock them as much as they like, but tickets are still being sold, because the demand is still strong. They've more than earned their right as the giant of rock. I'm not sure which person of the trumpet/sax section once said, they don't need to gig again. Blondie Chaplin also said they could easily just stay home. So it's the pleasure of performing is what drives them l'm sure. And seeing their enthusiasm just confirms it. This is the only cover of Dylan's song l've heard, and it's the best version for me. Not many covers of originals are good, but l think this is the exception.
@@tristancarver734 if anyone knocks em I ask if they’ve seen them live - none ever have. My response is ‘go and see them live and we’ll talk later’.
They’re beyond legends and they’re still nailing it, Mick’s voice is great and the boys on guitar?? Well what can you say…they’re as one, a privilege to watch them live, they broke the mould and there won’t ever be another Rolling Stones, catch em whilst you can. You’ll kick yourself if you don’t.
10/10
@@ricochet243 will it be 1 hit to body to me and my honky tonk woman. Maybe it'll start me up. Because who wants to be caught between a rock and a hard place 😄
Incredible show
Mick Jagger is 78 years old and he is an inspiration.... whenever I think I'm getting too old to give everything I have to life and living... all I need to do is watch this clip and realize there is no reason to think negatively...
Wow 👌 on point !
Well he looks much younger than 78 and don't get me started on Ronnie Wood, he looks 50. So it shows even if you take drugs and alcohol when you're younger, if you take care of yourself in your later years, you will live a long, healthy life. Jagger Looks like he could do this for at least 10 years more. And still have a few years to retire after that.
I love this song, love to hear Jagger singing it. This is beautifully filmed, his silhouette against the London skyline really adds to the atmosphere
Orangedreamful couldn't agree more 👍☘️
@@donhanlon7121 me, too 😄
Speechless what’s Mick doing it’s his energy and the connection between Keith and him which made them for ever the best Rock & Roll band ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️
I traveled to London for business and casually find out that this legend band will be playing and made it happen to be there and witnessed the reason of this true band! Amazing to see a lot of different generations enjoying life and the gift to be alive
The concert was super mad ! Definitely is a life experience and I bet this concert will be iconic
Thankful to my dad for bringing me there
Matt Lee - awesome job! What a beautiful day - just like "sweet summer sun" back in 2013.
They were so good last night. A really great gig and this Dylan cover was superb.
Special mention to Sam Fender who was a great support.
I saw the Stones at the gig 2 weeks before this one, also saw Sam Fender at Finsbury Park a few weeks later. Both owned it!
Had reservations before seeing Sam fender. Turns out he was alright😂
No one else like Mick in the whole wide world!!!!! 💘
Rolling Stones without Charlie Watts,
Everythings come to the end on this our life.
Rest in peace.
Brazil.
I was there, about 30 feet from the end of the runway and after seeing them several times, their energy plus the enthusiasm of the hometown crowd made this the best of all my stones experiences. a magical night.
Fantastical! More harmonica solos!!
...cowbells would've made it classic
Underrated harmonica player, that’s for sure.
Saw them sing this like 3 times should play it every concert!
And this concert just goes to show why Mick Jagger is the greatest lead Singer that ever existed. It's remarkable that he has done everything possible to stay in the best shape of his life. His energy is amazing. 🎶
Well except for partying and taking drugs 😂
Beautiful Concert super Song Thanks For Streaming 👉💯 ,❤️♥️💜👉♥️💜🎸👅🎸👅🎸👅🎸
Incredible. Hyde Park 1969 to Hyde Park 2022. Blows me away. Don't fade away boys!
I was there - was a sublime evening, truly. Hard to believe they were playing in the same spot over 50 years ago, debuting some of their songs for the very first time.
Mick is amazing at his age.
MEGA, 👏 Applaus for you and the Rolling Stones.
I remember the first time I heard this song on the radio back in '66 or whenever. We were on our way to the beach in L.A. I think it came on right after Paint it Black. That was in the very early days of AOR (Album Oriented Radio), and such a wonderful time in the history of rock and roll! We didn't have CDs or even cassettes back then.
Adult Oriented Rock=AOR
Love you Stones kisses 😘 to Mick , miss you 💕
This really hit a home run with me today.. I was specifically looking for the solace of this song and bam....Mick and the gang gave me a gift. Thanks dude.
All instrumentalists are sitting right in the song, not showing off including Mick on the harp its perfect
Just come from 2 show Hyde Park brilliant as usual amazing there as good now as in 1969 in th park jagger still got strong voice keep rocking boys
Same here John Morrissey, just home today shattered!!!!what a show!!!!, By the way you not connected to Tina Morrissey ( British girl with Dutch hubby) now living in Rotterdam absolute fanatics met them a few times 👍😀🔥🔥🔥☘️☘️
THE masters of rock!...THE ROLLING STONES!
The man turns 80 next year and is still jumping around on stage like a child 🤩🕺🏾
I was there....they were beyond amazing. Very special show, they are like 2 thousand years old and they rock harder than any 20 year old band. Mick's voice at top form, and the band just tight as rush hour underground. INSANE gig. Love the stones
Amazing performance. They're in great shape
A friend of mine sang this song at our wedding and shared the mic with us. Me and my wife traveled to UK for a rock trip to see as many rock concerts as we could. Seeing The Rolling Stones sing this song at Hyde Park with a beautiful sky was a dream come true. I wasn’t expecting this at all as Living in a Ghost Town was the usual choice for the band in this spot of the set list. 🤘
You are something else Mick Jagger!
THANK YOU Matt, there is nobody else 'Like A Rolling Stone'!
We were there it was fantastic
The stones covering such an iconic song, ya gotta love it!!
Looks like it was an amazing evening! Thanks for posting!
Thanks for uploading it Matt!! Truly enjoyed all the videos…
i love mick jagger
I saw them in Liverpool a few weeks ago, they were great, but at Hyde Park they were magnificent!! they were on fire!
thanks for the videos Lee,wish I'd been that close!!
what a perfect tempo
Hi Matt! My wife and I were very close to the end of the ramp (Gold Circle West). We had the best time. Thanks for all you do. What is your story? I always love hearing about fellow fans. My first show was July 13, 1978 in New Orleans. 80,000 packed the Superdome to see Van Halen, The Doobie Brothers and then The Rolling Stones.
I love you!
Nothing more to say.
I am so jealous. To you Matt especialy, Thank You! Here in Seattle wishing I was there.
Absolutely brilliant gig .plus Keith's T shirt was just perfect for him .
You cant actually articulate how underrated Mick is on harp
Amazing!!
Great, perfect, over all....just..Rolling Stones..love them, love the Songs....kisskiss to them..🥰😍❤❤❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍🎸🎸🎶🎤🎤🎤🎵🎷🎵🎵🎼🎸
Amazing ! Saw the Stones do this many years ago ! TntV4ever
Superb
Like Mick said on the first part of the BBC doc they always wanted to record it but resisted as they needed enough time to pass from Bob's original version to make it sound cool and not corny. And what a cool version they eventually did complete with a great Mick harp solo!!!.Kudos to you again Matt really enjoying these.
I went to this concert
This video is really amazing! You are so close to the stage! Beautifully filmed! In my videos you can't even distinguish them on the stage 😛
Hey Matt. Thanks from Florida ☀️😀👏🏻👍🏻🥁🎤🎸🎶🔥
Bellissimo merci
Super...👏
Great video. Nice job, Matt.
Beautiful!!! Great singing and playing from everyone. Joy everywhere👍Happy to watch this. May they keep rocking as long as they keep enjoying it! Very well shot too!
Prices are obnoxious though. I do know: "they're The Rolling Stones." Yes they are, but still... too much fckg dosh for promoters. I, like many thousands, have stopped buying tickets for a long time now. I could afford it but couldn't stand seeing the crowd divided between the haves at the front and the have-not-that-much at the back. Saw them at Wembley Stadium and even Marseille Velodrome Stadium. Twenty years ago a fan would pay a fair price and arrive hours before and stand in the sun before running to a well-deserved stadium front, rich and poor side by side elbow to elbow. Sorry but I had to say this. Long live The Stones!
some smokin' harp from MR. Mick Jagger, baby
Happy 😃 that was me and my partner that night
Amazing performance. I would like to suggest Jagger & Richard write a song called "roll with the wind" as a dedication to Bob Dylan😁🤟
I was there AND I was there at Brixton 1995.. NUFF SAID!!
Meravigliosa
ps from 4:23 that is some cool shit you filmed Matt. Love that sun going down Mick in shadow up the front of the catwalk
Note: If I could be Like A Rolling Stone and Dance around like Mick Jagger at his Golden Years would be a blessing.
effortlessly heavy
July 3rd was the day Brian Jones died and soon after, The Rolling Stones did a tribute at Hyde Park.
On Saturday 5 July 1969.
Cool
Very nice video ? What camera ?
👏👏👏👏
Loved this song by Dylan.Stones doing it is just 'little' extra.
❤️
Still alive and how much !
IT'S YOUTH !!!!! ...
LIKE A ROLLING STONE LIKE 1961 :)))))))
***GOD***
I’m amazed at mick
Stones & Company.
Child in time

Jaggers 10 years older than me God ive got to get of my ass cause im so FN Lazy watching him preform makes me want to walk around the block
Supernatural
Amazing gig although wtf was that big thing in the centre about 100 yards back, partly obstructed my view
Show was great, how many songs did you record?
Hi Sean, did you manage to grab a nice place to watch the show?
@@fr2738 Haha, good to see you again. Got within 4-5 people of the barrier on the East side. Better spot than I expected to get. Show exceeded my expectations
@@fr2738 Recorded the audio of the entire show on a phone in my bag, didn’t come out good enough to upload with everyone around singing
@@Sean-if7rp Then you were at the same spot as me, I also didn't expect to see them from that close haha I am still watching the videos I made of the show. Maybe I'll upload something. I didn't record songs from start to finish so maybe I will trigger some people in the comment section when the video stops mid song hhaha
@@fr2738 Same here, bits and pieces. Couldn’t keep my arm held in the air the entire time whilst trying to enjoy it. Did record the entire audio but wouldn’t upload, too much background noise (me singing along) in parts haha
😶😏😁
.....without Charlie, eh....who cares........especially after all the years of them claiming that Charlie was the soul of the band, and without Charlie, there is no Rolling Stones.
Great job filming this! They sound great but the drumming sounds uninspired to me. Nothing against the new guy, but….
They will never be the Stones without Charlie, imo. 😊
I think you may be right.
