It's 2022 and I never imagined the guys would perform my favorite Stones song at this late date. What an absolute treat for the audience. I would have been crying my eyes out had I been there.
What a joy to watch old style natural talent in full flow.
That's also a back-handed compliment - better to shut it. They were making world-beating songs before you were sperm.

I think this is the best live version they ever did of this beautiful 60's classic. Really wonderful.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion. It seems to me that this version does not do any justice to the original. Playing is really approximate in timing and even chords. Guitars not existent and they should complement the keyboards. I'm a huge Stones fan but this is not (IMHO) well performed.
@@EttoreMenguzzo I have to agree with you - this version pales in comparison to the marvelous studio production. A rare dud in the live repertoire. I’m glad they played some better material instead at the July 3rd show (which I was at!).
@@EttoreMenguzzo the bass keeps playing wrong notes, the drums and piano are missing Mick’s timing, the brass is missing, and everyone keeps getting lost 💀💀 this is a horrible performance but the song is so good that I can still manage to enjoy myself

Wow. Exquisite. Just excellent. Best live version of the song imo. They seemed much more confident playing it. Seems like even an extra jam/coda bit at the end there with sweet back-up vocals.
I thought the rehearsal version was brilliant too, they have fine tuned it to perfection💯🔥

I love this album too, yet it's so underrated. Along with the songs you mentioned, there's 2,000 Man, The Lantern, Gomper, and one of my all-time favorite Stones' songs, 2,000 Light Years From Home.

@@Harold710 Yes the correct name is "Their Satanic Majesties Request" but it's too long to write. I have the Original 3D 1967 Editions from USA and UK and also the SHM CD from Japan Mini LP 3D Edition with a Fantastic Sound!

There was really a rainbow when they were playing 19th Nervous Breakdown, and I was thinking if they'd do She's a Rainbow, and they really did! What a night!

It seems to me, that of the presentations I have observed from a distance by the Rolling Stones Troupe are just out standing. Their stamina in so many adversities in so many different experiences for them all to cope with, is amazing stability of high standards. It is such a great example of group integrity and affections for mates and staff. The music is very distinct and high quality. The VOCALS are just wonderful. The MUSIC is just great. Everyone gives a thoughtful considerate gift of effort.The STAGE is so Vivid. The overall concert Videos highlighting complexities are very enjoyable. I have really appreciated what I could see of your shows. Your continuous generosity is very heartwarming. You seem to be an elegant, gracious, bunch of family oriented people. You are so articulate ! It takes a lot of effort to share like you do. It's such a big endeavor with so many dimensions. God Bless you all. Thank you.

I saw them in Cleveland Ohio around the late 80s, was such a treat. It was packed and I couldn't get close until a huge rainstorm, I was able to be front and center

What an incredible sense of pride in your WORK these men must have. After all the gossip, the scandals, the sideshows, the distractions, the money, the women, THIS is all that matters. The music. Nearing 80, they have to be conscious that the art is their legacy. And when you can pull out a version like this at 80 of song you wrote at 23, to personally defend and promote that legacy, it shows some tremendous pride of accomplishment that is so wll deserved. These are serious artists going about their craft, even in such a delicate, hard to reproduce piece. Hands down the best band ever.
