Oscar Sánchez TG Depends how often you use the Sustainiac. However, just like the Active pickups by plugging your guitar to the amp its already consuming battery. For super quality batteries with limited use of the sustainer it will last at least a month. However, when I first bought the guitar I was over using my sustainer and it was goes out of battery in 4-7 days. BTW I play max 1-2h a day.
When you watch a closer video of this one, you will see that during the solo, a string was loose on his guitar(but he still attained to finished it!). So definitely, he had a problem with that guitar , that's why he fucked up! hahaha :) Love him!

We (at least I), only get emotional about Jimmy in avenged calm songs like this... basically, just a part of our person suffers. All of them, as a whole, suffered a lot more... so they learned well to live with it than we did...

We can clearly see this time that he's just failing due to guitar problems, and not because of his fault. Besides, this was in 2012. Im not saying that they have gone thought it, but they grew up and started to accepting it as a fact and they dont seem to be that much more emotional with the subject now..
i like how whenever they lend their instruments so a fan can play they just sit around not knowing what to do
