If you are refering the harmonic at 1:42. it's not a pinch harmonic, it's a tapping harmonic. He has his left hand in the 4th fret and hit with his right hand in the limit between 13th and 14th frets. Anyway, it sounds awesome :)

Though Hail to the King was a disappointment and quite frankly, I think the band will never be as good as they were before Jimmy died, they will always have my love and respect. #forREVer

Sliip Gates Maybe if you just got into music. I know parallel fifths happen a lot. But they happen too much. It's part of the reason why the metal community sees metalcore as a big joke for talentless and tasteless dipshits that just began using guitars. Parallel fifths do not sound good on the basis of just being parallel fifths, that's reasoning for impressionable idiots. It's all about doing them in the right time if you're actually going to be _creative_, and this means sometimes not doing them at all. Syn plasters them all over his work, probably because of tasteless fans going "oh durrr hurr r omg 2 guitars playen at teh saem time that is so kewl dis guys are genies!"
***** No no. I got you. I can definitely see that. And I've been into music for a long time. But I guess I've just taken a bit of a stronger liking to it.

can't wait to see what their next album is gonna be!
hooooooo I love synyster gates
+Lukas Lacote trop coll
+Lukas Lacote gay?
+Vixendrofld must be on Crack
Aint picked up a guitar since high school. This guy is starting to imfluence me to start back playing again
I think that it would be better Synyster with former hairstyle.Sorry this Google translator, i russian.
His hair made him a better guitarist?
syngatesJr6661a7x No, I just think so.
I agree, he's still one of my favorite guitarists ever... But now he looks funny haha.
Alex Sadeghi Yeah:)
he looks so puny now i remember when they started he was ripped now hes getting older hes still amzing though
I love how he is tapping more now! Also his solos get harder and harder every album. I think he wanted to do something that everyone could kinda play in this video lol
that should be a new song!!!!!, he's one of the bests
He's amazing
His solos are bad ass, end of story.
His style is what makes him one of the absolute best guitar players. The fusion of his ingredients of theory is the recipe of a7x
It's been more than three years since this was uploaded.
I still can't play this shit.
You can definitely hear the beginnings of the sound of The Stage coming through here
syn is getting old! look at his eyes.. not the same as he was between city of evil and nightmare.. i think the whole rev thing took a very big toll on all of them
Maybe because he's over 30 now and he shows it.What did you expect, that he was gonna look all the same in decades?
Miraç Bayrak You're telling me this fucker isn't immortal?
guitarb3ast7x sadly
its normal that it had an impact isnt it? look at the concert in rock am ring this month they were al great
I asked my 13 year old sister how old this guy might be, because I think he looks so young with this hairstyle and without a beard, and she thought he was about 24 or 26 ( actually he is 33) :P infiniteGamer96 I was at Rock am Ring and they were amazing, the hole crowd was shouting "Hail, Hail". :D
Now THIS should DEFINITELY be a studio-recorded official
3:13 - 4:18 was very nice
Synyster Gates really has it going on!
He sounds like a modern Marty Friedman :O
I love just how bored he looks literally the entire time. It's like it's not even difficult for him! Seriously one of the most underrated guitarists out there.
Cool shit right there
Absolutely amazing, one of the best of all time
Synyster Gates:
The man who forever ruined parallel fifths.
Can't you just leave that cheesiness out of your fucking master class solos either?
What do you mean he ruined it? It's not cheesy at all. Parallel 5ths happens a lot and it sounds cool. The only place parallel 5ths doesn't sound good is some voice leading.
Sliip Gates
Maybe if you just got into music.
***** But most of their dual work isn't actually parallel 5ths, more 3rds and 6ths.
Oh shit you're right. I'm retarded. I meant parallel 3rds.
syn is just simply amazing
To any/all haters out there to Syn or A7X, instead of pissing of the "fanboys" or fans of the band why don't you just go somewhere else, like idk twindle your dinks to Nicki Minaj or something argueing with this crowd wont't get you anywhere Syn is a helluva good guitarist and if you disagree post a vid of you doing better and Ill change my mind
