Joe was undergoing life saving treatment for leukaemia at the time, however , as always Joe gave everything and more to this landmark performance.

I never got a chance to see Joe as much as the U.K. But he never really got much air time in the states. I learned of him after his passing with his fantastic impressions and his great singing voice. I miss this form of entertainer. He really was a fantastic entertainer.

I was very fortunate to see Joe perform back in the day in Blackpool. Such a talented, unique, kind and lovely guy. His Shirley Bassey was amazing as was the rest of his impersonations. He's sadly missed but what an entertainer!!!.
Its so sad to see he was so much alive in this concert and to know he is now gone forever. What a tragic loss for humanity. He left too soon. I pray for him that he maybe at peace on the other side and singing with the angels. Rest in Peace Joe. I wish I could have known you.
Remarkably excellent
Joe at his best. I saw Joe's very last show just 9 days before his passing. He was obviously very poorly but determined to give as good a show as he could. A brilliant entertainer much missed.

Joe had ‘it all’. The entertainment value he gave was off the Richter scale. I remember back in the 80’s he would appear on TV shows when both the BBC and ITV were at the top of their game.
We lost Joe too young but at least we have these videos to look back
