Bravo!!!
Miserere is a masterpiece of musical genius, but this choir's performance does a tremendous credit to this song. Their performance is becoming my favorite rendition, their tonal range and harmony are perfection with Allegri's Miserere
Wonderful voices. Very rich male voices. Location beautiful. Funky lense distortion takes away from the beauty of the video. Very hypnotizing what the soprano adds with ornamentation; her vocal cords are quite fluid. Very good. Very very good.
Miserere mei, Deus: secundum magnam misericordiam tuam. Et secundum multitudinem miserationum tuarum, dele iniquitatem meam. Amplius lava me ab iniquitate mea: et a peccato meo munda me. Asperges me hysopo, et mundabor: lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor. Auditui meo dabis gaudium et laetitiam: et exsultabunt ossa humiliata. Averte faciem tuam a peccatis meis: et omnes iniquitates meas dele. Cor mundum crea in me, Deus: et spiritum rectum innova in visceribus meis. Ne proiicias me a facie tua: et spiritum sanctum tuum ne auferas a me. Redde mihi laetitiam salutaris tui: et spiritu principali confirma me.
Fantastic performance! This is probably one of the best versions I've ever heard. This deserves quite a lot more views, actually! Greetings from Germany! :)
Beautiful tones! Every version has it's own beauty. The composition of this group is a great mix of bright youth and the richness of more mature voices.
Raggiunge direttamente l`anima.
Very well performed and conducted. Also can we give credit to the sound engineers who have created a lovely mix...every singer can be heard clearly..well done also to the video editing,it being the first project..just a gorgeous performance all around! Greetings from Bill in beautiful Northumbria in the United Kingdom.
Praise be to God. This is spectacular. The unity and clarity of the choir, the wonderful soprano that doesn't grandstand, the humility and peace that is in this rendition sets it apart. A wonderful gift to humanity. I play it often in my simple cabin in the woods of central Maine. Truly a blessing. Thank you all.
Sublime
A lovely performance. My favorite on RUclips. That Top C gets me every time. The group takes it to another level at 12:46! Fantastic location and recording. Highly recommended!
¡Una actuación exquisita! ¡Bravo! ¡Guauu! An exquisite performance! Bravo! Very hard to achieve in a live performance! And oh, what incredible acoustics! Wow!
Bravi
I agree. Even better than The Tallis Scholars, The Sixteen, and King's College. I particularly liked the ornamentation added for the soprano I in Choir II.
Ricardo.... Alejandro.. Jina.. Zyzl i...
@ I Agee this is a very good, maybe even the best version. But there is a certain charm in the La Capella version, which makes it for me still the favorite. Sorry about that.
Excelente.
At some time and according to a legend, this Miserere was considered an exclusive piece to be performed in the Vatican during the Lenten season, without being able to be copied according to the papal order. In other words for being a favorite piece of popes. In 1770, during his visit to Rome by Wolfgan Amadeus Mozart and Leopold, his father, they went to the Vatican representation of Lent and, according to Leopold in a letter to his wife verbatim: “You may have often heard of the famous "Miserere of Rome ", which is so appreciated that its interpreters have been forbidden to reproduce any fragment or make copies under penalty of excommunication, but we already have it ”. Somehow the young Wolfgang was able, with a single presentation, to sketch this "Incopiable" piece. This own anecdote to be disseminated by Leopold on a promotional trip with his son through Italy, could be seen in current terms as "marketing" since it was discussed as something extraordinary. Regardless of this fact, Wolfgang found in this Miserere, enough material to make his own, the Miserere in A minor (K85) whose composition is placed by his biographers between 1772-1774. It is recommended to listen to it.

ENHORABUENA!!!

This is how I imagine angels singing to the Lord🙏💒🙏
Beautiful tones! Every version has it's own beauty. The composition of this group is a great mix of bright youth and the richness of more mature voices.
clear diction...well blended.. no distractions...except for the fisheye camera. best rendition i have heard.
agreed - fisheye camera was the only visual drawback - otherwise, all in all, it was exquisite. Let us just close our eyes.
