Great review as always, and very honest.
For me, at this stage, LEGO are just pure robbing the Star Wars fan, $150 for a book is ridiculous. LEGO just take advantage of the Star Wars fan, constantly overcharging premium prices for an average product.
At one time I was buying all the Star Wars sets, up until about a year ago when I started selling them all off. Luckily they sell well on the secondary market and I made most of my money back, this being the only redeeming point of buying Star Wars LEGO. Selling my Star Wars sets is the best thing I ever did, I am no longer being disappointed, and feeling robbed, with 90% of the LEGO sets I buy 🙂

Every Lego collector is aware of some elusive but putrid dark corporate side of Lego. There are too many and regular crossing the line of ethics for a company in the business of providing fun. It’s not surprising that it comes out in the book. Anyway, back to building :)

Lesser printing quality in 2025 than in 1999? No minifigs? Astronomical price! Woeful content? Welcome to Lego 2025: !

No way I would drop a hundred and fifty bucks on an enormous coffee table book.
