Nice review. I finally bought this to… more go with my real fishtank, it’s got the yodas hut diorama, this, the mandrake and plants inside and out. My Harry Potter shelf has been invaded by another year of advent calendars… needs work :)

Coming back to this video to say that the two display cases I bought from Brickshell Cases a while ago are fantastic! I chose to get the 144 mega stackers, as they gave me the most minifigure space for my buck. Especially compared to other stores, such as Kingdom Brick Supply. As well as being nice and compact. The protective case took a bit to assemble, but it was worth it. If it weren't for your video, I would probably still be looking for my desired display cases.

474 / 5 000 Lego has a hard time offering a perfect set. The previous Great Hall reproduced the windows between the courtyard and the rest of the windows, here we have a vulgar wall. We also know that under it are the kitchens, elves preparing and sending the dishes. The only true reproductions, I have seen them on MOCs. Maybe Lego is waiting for yet another Great Hall to finally offer it to us, unless you build the kitchens yourself 😅. Thanks for this review 🙏 👍

Why not Hogwarts Castle 71043? I was sure you would have it and search video, but alas even in your show off lego room video not there. Imo beats all seperate harry potter sets.

i rly rly loved the look of this when it came out but wanted the wait until the show to see if it would be worth buying, and based on the first 2 episodes the show seems rly cute and fun, so i am justified in buying this amazingly designed set lol

We’re all Grogu’d out at this point 🥱. I will be picking up Ashoka’s Jedi Interceptor and the Arc-1702! I wouldn’t mind a UCS Arc-170 but I am happy to get my hands on a play scale set as I do not own any of the previous models. Also will be picking up the rest of the animal crossing sets too.

I do hope that down the line we can get an even larger scale version of this with more interior space (as judging by the first 2 episodes, it is rather spacious), our droid character SM-33, and maybe a few other characters from the show, both those who appear in the first 2 episodes (Wim's dad, Captain brutus), and characters who will appear in the next 6

having seen the first 2 episodes, I think this is a good set, it's really only missing one character-our obligatory Droid, SM-33-and I'm glad this was released before the show, as I like the show so far and the fact that this hs already been out for a while means I can go out and get it (ironically however, I can't, as it is December, there's no room in the budget for any large LEGO this late in the year, maybe after Christmas)

Adding an light kit is that final touch which takes already awesome sets to another level The cantina looks fantastic especially the bar rotating colours ❤ I myself have just finished adding an light kit to my Rivendell set It did take a while and I did struggle alittle but the end product made it all worth it

Edit: I do not have a steady hand nor do I have the time to fiddle around with thin wires but they do look really good in the Cantina!! I saw the Home Alone house all lit up a few years ago and it looked absolutely beautiful and felt very Christmassy

The 2010 version is huge compared to the 2023 version

Wow, my siblings and i picked out that same spongebob krusty krab, even though we liked watching AtlA more. I dont remember seeing the AtlA sets in stores.

Being an lotr fan absolutely envious of your setup there ! I’ve come in late to the Lego scene so really looking forward to next year with a bunch supposedly coming out. I love the cave troll mini fig too going to buy that at some point. all round Awesome collection ❤

Based take on the lion knights heads. I did the same thing 😂

The switching the knights heads is a rather intelligent decision in my opinion. Representing history even in toy form should be done accurately within reason and if putting different heads on makes the set more realistic to the time period it is the logical path to take.

That’s your *sisters* collection, and your mum runs a bricklink store.. it’s so heartwarming to know you people exist. That was our houses collection plus some. Was waiting for the dinosaur collection and you didn’t disappoint. From me: yes I have both avatar waves as well. They age much better than the first impression, it was the elves I never got. Also I built the jones diorama a few months ago, I was profusely greatful for the whole experience.. a rare reminder of the peak Lego detail.. somehow actual bricks are transformed into not bricks, and when you open a bag you get more than spares and 1x2 pieces as you do in 2024 sets. Last: that collection is missing the ucs Hogwarts express. Ignore the Lego status quo, that set was jaw dropping at ever stage of the build, and 6 months later for me it’s one of my top 3 sets it’s so good!! As well as everything, it’s a love letter to Harry Potter, so strongly it communicates the designer loves the franchise, more than just a job they were assigned to. Anyway the end. Nice collection!!

Absolutely crazy how you have displayed all of your awesome Lego sets and other collectibles so well in two small/medium size rooms Erika! Always good to see/hear when people still have their original toys from their childhood and love the framed promotional prints also. -Jason
