I purchased this set to represent my Wayne Manor. The old school castle style works because Wayne Manor is very castle like (even the attic stuff works). I just plan on changing some interior things a little bit but that's it.
I like this set a lot! I’ve been down with friends for a long time. It has a lot of crossover appeal. Doesn’t seem like it would be terribly difficult to mirror build this set, add hinges and not include some of the roof pieces. Then you would have a cool dollhouse effect. I’ll have to keep my eye out for a sale this one .
I don't think each floor is a room. Think of it more like one house with 2 bedrooms and the bathroom and living room/common space is its own room. The only "rooms" where guess would have their privacy would be the bedrooms which the door frames are suppose to represent if you had a door to separate.
Can you elaborate on that reasoning a little more? Just trying to understand your train of thought. It really like friends' design and think it blends just fine with City, unless you're more referring to their having open backs?
@@legomaster7388 I just mean if somebody (like myself) was looking to build a little town with just Lego City line, the residential and commercial places come up short numbers wise. I have 2 modern family houses (I believe 2021 and 2023 year) and the Cozy house. There were no more houses at the time. Some more apartments have come out since at $100. They don't even offer a coffee shop in City. Friends has a ton of houses, a coffee shop, many other commercial buildings... Lego City does a great job with trains, fire, police and all... but houses man... we need more houses. So now I am coming over to friends sets for the houses.
I opened this video wondering if this set was "cute" at all...I got my answer! LOL. Great video though TBH!
This set looks incredible! And the price is great too.
It's so so cute! And very fairly priced I agree!

I see you've expanded since your original comment. That's actually a great idea! Hope it works out well for you!

I think the Friends set destroys Lego City for creating an actual city when it comes to residential and commercial buildings.
