Ulsan is fucking crazy, he'll play like ur normal dragunov online first until u stop him and when u do he goes back and summon his korean ancestors and suddenly he seems fucking unbeatable. I'm excited for ur reaction on the grand finals lol
Just wanted to say the amount of content and coverage of the TWT you've been posting isn't going unnoticed. I hope you take some time for yourself and rest once the TWT finals is over
The thing that gets me the most with Ulsan is his ability to condition the opponent and what he does after. Like the way he will punish whenever you retaliate into him getting in and once you are being more cautious, he be doing the scariest most oppressive empty movement ever
It's simple, I see Victor on the thumbnail, I click on it. It's my boy Farzeen's time, I can feel it! He's gotten so close on many occasions, and has proven time and time again that he can compete against the elite of the elite. SO excited for TWT Finals to get underway!
Rooting for him too. But while he always crushes his competition in Pakistani tournaments, he usually falls short of the mark internationally. Hoping this time may be different...
Can't wait to see how Ulsan will adapt to the upcoming Tekken future landscape. He's been so dominant so far, I never seen a player as aggressive as him
9:23 Ulsan does sidestep Heat Smash after FC DF1,4. Any guess on what read is that, since if he is playing around Victor mashing, a simple SNK1 would have worked just fine, no?
@PhiDX Sneak 1 is a full launcher. Isn't a full launch a better reward than a landed Heat Smash? Also alternatively, sidestep into B4,3 Dash would have also lead to a big combo. This would better on block tho.
@@PhiDX Sneak 1 is the bitch slap, Sneak 2 is the spinny elbow that goes low, both are full launchers. I looked more of the way Farzeen played previous spots where Ulsan did FC DF1,4 and indeed it was most likely a read on using the Armor, and it being a jab instead was just a happy accident :)
Im a new tekken player trying to get better, can someone explain why players sidestep in neutral so much and they often do it at the same time? Has it got something to do with alignment or ??
I think it's because many long reach attacks are sidestepable. An example of this is Dragunov's running 2. Sidestepping in the neutral makes your opponent think twice before trying to close distance. Both players sidestepping at the same time in opposite directions can be either coincidence or one of them trying to counter the other's sidestep. I'm a red rank scrub though so I'd wait for the good players to give more insight xDD
Isn't this Yagami's second time reverse sweeping Chanel??? He did that in the Saudi tourni earlier this year right? Nvm I'm fkin braindead this is that tourni
11:52 You know its actually pretty funny at Evo I fought farzeen in dragu vs victor and round 1 game 1 he dickjabed and I lowparried quite literally just like this
I think Phi is better suited to pre/post game analysis than play-by-play or color commentary. I can definitely see a world where we start seeing more of those positions. Red Bull has been experimenting with it at the Kumite's. Evo is tough because there are only two commentators so that means Phi has to compete for his slot with the likes of Tasty Steve, Majin Obama, Spag, Rip, Myk, etc.
Gonna be honest, I was kinda hoping this was a video about the TWT instead of just another vod review. I respect the grind and all the work that’s going in to these, but I think the insistence on reviewing every single match, especially for games that a lot of us have seen and happened a minute ago, isn’t necessarily the best content. A lot of why this channel has been amazing is the wide variety of videos that were made, and that seems to have been cut in favor of just nonstop videos that I no longer feel super motivated to click on.
That's fair! There are people who hadn't seen it yet and I promised I would do it, so it's on me for being late. After TWT finals it should be back to normal 🙏🏼
I'm loving this ewc series personally and I'm sure a lot of people in your audience are too. It's the first time I've been able to truly enjoy watching tournament footage thanks to your in depth analysis

LMAO
Crazy good comment and so on point 😂👍🏻
hes like the fucking the last tekkbender calling upon the past avatars and locking in
hes like tekken aang calling upon the past avatars and locking in
I'm really loving the 2 Phi videos a day, appreciate you recapping this entire thing!
Ulsan drinking 6-8 coffees before a finals day???? how is he not poopin himself all day
Addy helps keep it all in
Just wanted to say the amount of content and coverage of the TWT you've been posting isn't going unnoticed. I hope you take some time for yourself and rest once the TWT finals is over
Can this event happen already so we can get what the last DLC is...
Because that's all I care about.
It better be hype as hell, otherwise they will look mad goofy for not leaving Heihachi for last
@@arpadszabo661 Not a single character will be surpass that in tekken. cus it was so out of left field.
But god forbid it's a guest character...
@@arpadszabo661 if its not a guest/new char, it will be armor king, julia or fahkumram imo
Lucky Chloe pls

The Character has that bs built in..
Empty movement and conditioning is not something built in the character👀…
Coffee makes a difference your brain is just firing faster it's science

Arslan will somehow diff them all
Another Farzeen fan! nice :)

i have this video open on 13 tabs rn so i can watch it quicker
I’m super exited for DOUBLES match. His Law is super cool to watch.

Higher reward!

Sneak 2 you mean?
Heat smash beats armor and is better on block

As victor main this broke my heart but it was a damn good match!
Not seeing JDCR or Knee in that top 20 bracket is depressing
I think it’s about time for the new generation in Tekken, a lot of these top top players that are doing well are young and doing crazy things
@ true but it doesn’t make it any less depressing for me lol
Victor is awesome!! Go Farzeen!
I think ch numan might take everything. His steve is top notch

Commenting for the algorithm.
"6 to 8 coffees" i know that's just on finals day but w. what
No wonder the dude plays like he's on crack
ulsan bout to take it
Can we get a predictions video with analysis? 😉
As someone who is learning Victor, I’m realizing his lows really suck. Happy for the validation here.
Yep, some of the absolute worst lows in the game. Terrible damage, launch punishable on block, trash frames even on hit, and barely any lows at all.
When does this start eastern standard time ?
can anyone tell me the input for that kip up at 13:28 ?
❤ keep up the great work
That was a great match 🤯
In 2 days? I thought it was on the 7th of this month
Schedule is in the description. Group starts on Dec 4th in NA time.
Hilarious video in hindsight considering they just announced they won't be revealing DLC at TWT.
14:58 tekken yoda
Damn Phi tricked me into watching another EWC video again.
my goat with the educational yapping
bro PHIDX i saw your name in TWT LCQ bro...
are you participating?
Man, I love tekken
More FT5 tournaments!!! FT5 is a full 5 course meal meanwhile, FT2 is just fast food...
No coaching is just an extra bit of spice too
Where is the esports World Cup ?
Isn't this Yagami's second time reverse sweeping Chanel??? He did that in the Saudi tourni earlier this year right?
Nvm I'm fkin braindead this is that tourni
He did the Gotham stare
You mislead us.
I thought you Will talk about upcoming twt ..
But you are showing an old video 😂
Farzeen is so good to watch.
Whenever he plays I'm like he should win.
Even with against my favorite Tekken player Arslan.
Farzeen should win 😂
i love the stare
I knew that Victor is going to be a thing eventually
6-8 coffees is a slow day for me fml
Farzeen is a beast
QCF4 will win it easily.
18:05 "exBULLSHIT!"
Туда этого ля пятит Марселе )))

@ yea good point actually. Reminds me of football analysis not every analyst can do in game analysis well *cough Tom *cough Brady*
the concept for the trophy is insane, awesome.
Hey Phi. Korea best. :P
Did knee not qualify
No he is in lcq
Nice duck!
Let's gooooooooooo
Really happy to see character loyalist like Fear of Silence being on the NA top board for this year's TWT finals
🎉
oh yes
The top few characters are really not fun to watch, and they're completely oversaturating the roster.
earliest I've ever been
damn
am I this early?
😳
😁
🎉😮😊😅
Farzeen most likely will win this, his perfomance on Baaz Fight Night 2 was ruthless
Howdy
😂
victor and dragunov are the most boring two characters to watch ..
not to discredit the players but this is really lame.

Victor is such a brain dead character.
Literally every character that a person doesn't play is braindead to said person. Git gud.
23 seconds no views dam phi fell off hard
Tejan will surprise everyone🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
