this album is 10 years old this year. and it has been one of my top albums ever. I rarely see people look at this album, let alone hear of it. It’s absolutely fantastic.
One of the things I love about this album is that the intro to nuclear seasons was a snippet of grins and the outro of take my hand is a snippet of lock you up
This album overall was charli trying to figure out what her sound is

You (Ha Ha Ha) is one of my favourite songs by her - it was really ahead of its time and has aged super well.
YESSS CHARLII can’t wait for the rest of her discography nuclear seasons is definitely my favorite of this album tho

YASSS SO FAR AWAY WITH THE 9 1/2!!!! Its such an incredible song and im so glad its getting its recognition 😭 all of these tracks do but damn So Far Away is my absolute favorite and im so glad other people are appreciating it!!

So I've never listened to Charlie XCX before and you said it perfectly when u said she was an amalgamation of all the pop girlies together. That's the PERFECT way to explain her and her music. I was vibing on this project. It kinda all flowed together for me so ima have to really pay attention to which tracks are my favorites. But she ATE on track 2 I think its called Ha Ha Ha but OMFGGGGG! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 and you're right, it doesn't sound dated at all! Track 3 sounds like early 00s to me, like MGMT or Metro Station. I'm soooo glad you picked her to start with cuz I never would've thought to listen to her and I loved her straight out the gate!
