During high school, in the early 70’s, I made a skirt out of old neckties. I used to buy old men’s and women’s suits and redesign them. I am in my 60’s and my fashion taste has always been avant-garde. I have always danced to my own drumbeat.

Really wanna do see more study on the relationship between popular fashion and military issue clothing. Went to the World War 2 museum in New Orleans a while back, and the parallels between old uniforms and stuff I see people wear every day is so crazy.
