DIY Anthropologie Planter | Aging Terra Cotta Pots with Paint and Wax | Dollar Store Planter Idea

What happens if you add paint and wax to a terra cotta pot? You could end up with a high end dupe for a bargain price!
I don't try to dupe the Bergs planter from Anthropologie, rather I try to make one that would fit in with the look. And it turns out it's easier to do than I expected! And it's an inexpensive project - especially if you have paint and wax already in your craft stash.
Using a low planter as a centerpiece makes it easy for conversations across the table. It is also a great excuse to buy more plants!
I have to say I was pretty surprised at what wax can do to add detail, faux age and depth to plain flat paint.
