OMG! I’m obsessed with this idea! There’s SO many ugly vases and just STUFF in my house I can transform now! Im SO excited to wake up tomorrow with all these new ideas!!! I even have all the tools ( and the same paints ) to do this immediately!
I watched last night before bed. Went thrift shopping this morning at Goodwill, and found some great vases. Got some paint, and I'm ready to make over my vases. I love your channel. I get so excited when you post a new video. Bonus I got some cool coffee table books. Just took off the paper covers and they are perfect. One of them is Ethan Allen. Style create the look you love. This used to be a very high end furniture store in Charlotte.
I love anything diy. I don't even have favorites.. I get addicted to a diy and I'm on that and make as many as I can before I get bored, then onto something else and so on, then back to older diys that I had done years ago.. So I am all over the place.. Thank you for sharing.. Love these
Love watching your decor videos and was looking for the vessels you have but today bought a thrift vase and checked online to see how to age it and low and behold I see this video by you and that you do this! You’re gifted at making these vases so aged and refined! Thank you🤗🇨🇦
I love creating new textures on old items, I have even used glass containers, will add some of your paintings techniques to my containers. I am a floral designer and can’t wait to do some more painting.
These ideas are great. I’m planning a girls night and we are gonna do some of these ideas. Making over a few vases we find at goodwill. A fun girls night that gives us something to keep to remember the fun we have together.
I have always wanted to know how to do this I have so many different vases huge, large, medium and small and I have changed them with adding ribbon and handmade bows and string, but nothing is compared to what you have done I have saved your video so I can go back and watch and see the different items you have used to create these awesome vases that I just find so great and would change the entire look of my home and this is just a great project for me since I am disabled, And cannot go anywhere alone without someone being with me, but I can order these paints and items online which I get free shipping on almost everything I order which is a great way to shop and save money which is also for me to get great deals. I can't wait to get my hands into doing these projects as well. Thanks for showing us your art of making things look so beautiful. Thomas
Beautiful! I LOVE how all of them turned out. I really love how you accentuated the rope detail on the last large pot, too. BRILLIANT! You've inspired me to go to the thrift stores tomorrow to hunt for pots I can transform. Thank you so much for your excellent instructions as well.😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Hi Jenna I loved the “how to” on the pots, you had some perfect shapes. I tried writing down the different paints you used. Lol All the pots are beautiful and look so RICHIE and GORGEOUS in your home. I love your taste of decorating it’s so beautiful, loving how you mix the old pieces in with the new it’s so AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. Hope the fig tree looked good in the pot you created for it. Thanks for showing us “how to” !!
I will definitely be trying this. I just bought two vases off Facebook market place. I have most the products u used in the video so I’m really excited.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. This is perfect timing because I want to start incorporating aged pieces to my home and outside and I wasn’t sure how to do it, now I do. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, this is perfect.
I love the way all of these turned out. I've been going to thrift shops and picking up old vases/vessels now for some time and doing these aging processes for some time now and I thoroughly enjoy it. I bought both sizes of those jugs from Target to age them as well as the peachy color doesn't go with my vibe, but I so love the shapes.
I will definitely be on the look out for these types of pots at my thrift stores. I am looking forward to a DIY for sure. They turned out beautiful. Blessings.
What a great idea! Thank you for sharing. You're creating amazing awesomeness on a budget. I love it! You have inspired me to look for recycled pieces to upgrade.
BTW: your tutorial is the simplest, clearest , well presented of any I have seen. You showed the materials you used, in the order that you used them, and showed very simply how you laid them out to use , showed the container labels, the tools you used as you used them, and how you used them. I looked up some authentic shipwreck pottery after viewing this and saw a couple that looked spot on to yours. We are moving to a maritime area very near the Bay of Fundy, but on lakefront. I have been looking ahead to how to introduce some more authentic maritime features, besides lobster traps , lighthouses and buoys. And bonus! I can use some broken pieces!
I swear I've watched at least 50 of these transformative vase videos, and yours is BY FAR the Prettist!!! They're effortlessly elegant looking. Could you please share with me the paint brand/colors you used? I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you and keep creating!!!!
Amazing DIY transformations! I love all the thrifty finds and color choices that really transformed these pieces into unique beautifully aged decor! You've really knocked it out of the park with this DIY!
I bought a pitcher at a thrift store. It’s shiny brown texture. I didn’t really like the color. Now I know what I can do with it. I’m never going to pass an ugly color vase or container at the thrift store again. This is great. I’m going to look around my house for anything I can do this to. Thanks for this video. I’m going to go buy some paint and things tomorrow.
Hi! Wow! Beautiful! Your favorite one is definitely my favorite too, the third one. I have matte black paint and baking soda so I only need the chalk paint. Thanks so much!!!
all of them look very expensive and authentic , it kinda makes you wonder those expensive stores , what techniques they are using , I been searching for the dark large pottery barn vase dupe as the one I want is $300 , and this has inspired me to go to my local thrift store , dollar tree for the paint , this can be done so affordably , I am not a DIY person at all but this has truly convinced me to be one .
Hi Jenna, That is Amazing, the way you changed the pots. Can't wait to try on some jars and vases I found at the thrift store. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a Blessed day. 😊
